SplashSplat: Reconstructing Splashing Liquids from Real-World Multi-View Videos

SplashSplat introduces a new benchmark of 20 real-world splashing liquid scenes captured with seven synchronized 4K cameras at 60 fps, providing per-view liquid and container masks and fixed evaluation splits. The method reconstructs per‑frame liquid signed distance fields (SDFs) from these masks, fuses them into a coarse velocity field, and uses Lagrangian carriers to generate differentiable local Gaussian representations for rendering. SplashSplat outperforms existing dynamic Gaussian splatting techniques on both real and synthetic data, offering more physically plausible motion, lower training cost, and enabling temporal interpolation and style transfer without re‑optimization.

FAST-GS: Frequency Aware Space-time Gaussian Splatting for Photorealistic Dynamic Novel View Synthesis

4D Gaussian Splatting (4DGS) excels in dynamic 3D reconstruction and real-time novel view synthesis via efficient 4D Gaussian representations and parallelizable rendering. However, existing 4DGS approaches rely on a single polynomial to model motion, which limits performance in complex dynamic scenes where high-frequency motion components are prevalent, and fails to ensure long-term stability due to cumulative trajectory drift.

OuroWorld: Bringing Any 3D World Alive as Diverse, Endlessly Looping 3D Cinemagraphs

OuroWorld is a mask‑free framework that transforms any static 3D Gaussian Splatting scene into a 3D cinemagraph, producing dynamic scenes with vivid, diverse motion that loop seamlessly from any viewpoint. It uses a vision‑language model to infer plausible dynamics and a video model to synthesize a reference video, which is then lifted and completed into multi‑view videos. The method introduces an Inconsistency‑Robust Periodic 4DGS with a Fourier‑series deformation field for guaranteed looping and a Grounded Drift Field to handle cross‑view inconsistencies, enabling general deformation, object motion, and illumination change beyond fluid‑like motion. Evaluation on 39 scenes shows OuroWorld outperforms baselines and wins 70.8%–99.0% of user‑study comparisons.
