NeuDonatello: Uncertainty-Aware Framework for Accurate Neural SDF Learning

NeuDonatello is a new framework for neural signed distance function (SDF) learning that explicitly models spatially varying uncertainty using Monte Carlo sampling. By incorporating this uncertainty into an adaptive regularization scheme and an uncertainty-aware SDF-to-density conversion, the method selectively strengthens geometric constraints where RGB supervision is unreliable, thereby improving surface reconstruction accuracy. Experiments show that NeuDonatello achieves state‑of‑the‑art results on diverse scenes using only posed RGB images.

Register Anything Model for Generalizable and Robust Point Cloud Registration

The paper introduces the Register Anything Model (RAM), a unified approach for 3D point cloud registration that can robustly estimate 6‑DoF transformations across a wide range of domains, including indoor, outdoor, and object scenes. RAM overcomes domain‑specific challenges by employing a geometry‑aware normalization that voxelizes and standardizes point clouds based on their geometric properties, followed by a hierarchical coarse‑to‑fine pipeline with a geometric transformer that focuses on local consistency. Experiments on 12 benchmarks show that RAM achieves state‑of‑the‑art inlier ratios and registration recall, outperforming methods trained on individual domains and demonstrating strong generalization.

M-plicits: Neural Implicit Surfaces via Nested Multiscale Residuals

M-plicits introduces a multiscale framework for neural implicit surfaces that models a surface as a residual sum of MLPs trained on nested neighborhoods. By localizing supervision to narrow bands around previous zero-level sets, the method achieves robustness to noisy input, avoids costly mesh extraction, and enables a multiscale sphere-tracing algorithm with analytical normal computation. Experiments on Stanford and Thingi32 show superior Chamfer distance and IoU metrics compared to existing methods while using far fewer parameters.

Complexity-Calibrated Reconstruction Discrepancy for No-Reference Point Cloud Quality Assessment

The paper introduces a no-reference point cloud quality assessment method that leverages a complexity‑calibrated reconstruction discrepancy. By reconstructing a distorted point cloud and comparing successive reconstructions with varying smoothing, the approach isolates a proxy for structural complexity, which is then used to calibrate the initial reconstruction error. The calibrated geometric and projected‑view discrepancies, measured with frozen pretrained perceptual representations, are fused into a final degradation score without requiring any PCQA‑specific training.

Generalizable Neural Reconstruction of High-Fidelity Surfaces via Sparse Volumetric Representations

The paper introduces SVRecon, a generalizable neural surface reconstruction framework that uses sparse volumetric representations to achieve high-resolution 3D reconstruction. It employs a two-stage architecture: first predicting occupied voxels with an occupancy network, then rendering only within those regions using specialized sparse algorithms. This approach allows reconstruction at resolutions up to 512³ on 32 GB hardware, producing smoother and more precise surfaces, especially in sparse-view scenarios.

Look Where You Can: Active View Selection for CAD Reconstruction under Occlusion

The paper introduces SightCAD, a framework for parametric CAD reconstruction that explicitly handles view feasibility constraints in realistic indoor scenes. It learns a view selector to choose a small set of feasible viewpoints for a vision‑language model that generates executable CadQuery code, and jointly trains the selector and the VLM using a reward that depends on the final geometric fidelity. The approach outperforms baseline methods on several benchmarks, achieving higher intersection‑over‑union scores and a lower invalid‑code rate.
