BlobBoards: Robust Markers for Accurate Pose

BlobBoards is a fiducial marker system that uses a dense, multi‑scale field of Gaussian blobs and a feature‑based pipeline for joint detection, identification, and pose estimation. The system registers each board from hundreds of blob features, leveraging dense spatial coverage and multiple scales to maintain detectability across large changes in focal length, distance, and obliquity. Compared to state‑of‑the‑art tags, BlobBoards achieves superior detection rates, lower median translation errors, and greater robustness to occlusion, with significant reductions in pose errors and large‑rotation failures.

RYOPO: Bringing End-to-End Category-Level Object Pose Estimation into Real Time

RYOPO is an end‑to‑end query‑based RGB‑D set predictor that jointly detects, segments, and estimates 9‑DoF poses of unseen instances within known categories without relying on external instance segmentation or CAD priors. It uses shared image and scene encoding, a query‑conditioned geometry pathway, and object‑centric refinement with pose‑conditioned cross‑attention to achieve accurate pose estimation. On benchmark datasets such as NOCS, REAL275, and HouseCat6D, RYOPO outperforms published methods and runs in real time at 31.8 FPS on an RTX A6000.

Spectral Consistency-Guided Multiview Point Cloud Registration for Low-Overlap Scenes

The paper introduces GMPCR, a non‑learning spectral consistency‑guided framework for multiview point cloud registration in low‑overlap scenes. GMPCR refines initial correspondences into a second‑order compatibility structure, uses spectral analysis to filter unreliable matches and select informative scan pairs, and then applies maximal‑clique hypothesis generation for robust relative transformations. The resulting sparse pose graph is further refined with an adaptive history‑aware synchronization scheme, and a recovery mechanism allows previously down‑weighted edges to regain confidence, achieving high registration recalls on benchmark datasets while reducing computational cost.

Monocular Visual Odometry without Calibration or Test-time Optimization

The paper introduces CalfVO, a monocular visual odometry system that operates without camera intrinsics, test‑time optimization, bundle adjustment, or loop closure. Using a transformer, it predicts relative poses with separate rotation and translation confidences over overlapping image windows, then aggregates these predictions via a confidence‑weighted module to produce a single trajectory. CalfVO achieves the highest accuracy among calibration‑free methods across five benchmarks and runs at 53 FPS, outperforming all baselines.

Moving6DPoSe: A Multimodal Database for Monocular 6D Pose Estimation and Segmentation of Moving Objects

Moving6DPoSe is a multimodal database for monocular 6D pose estimation and segmentation of moving objects, comprising two subsets: real-world recordings (Moving6DPoSe‑R) and synthetic sequences (Moving6DPoSe‑S). It includes 16 scanned objects, 1,702 real and synthetic rosbags, and annotations for semantic segmentation, object detection, and monocular 6D pose estimation. Baseline results show that event-based representations outperform conventional RGB images for moving‑object segmentation, while monocular orientation estimation remains challenging.

Know-Your-Scene (KYS)-SLAM: Hierarchical Semantic-Motion Priors for Feature Matching in Stereo Visual SLAM

Know-Your-Scene (KYS)-SLAM extends ORB‑SLAM3 by replacing binary feature rejection with continuous correspondence modulation based on semantic, panoptic, and motion priors. Each keypoint is augmented with hierarchical compatibility scores that down‑weight features on independently moving objects while preserving static structure, using a training‑free depth‑aware ego‑motion model and self‑calibrating thresholds. Across 21 stereo sequences, KYS‑SLAM achieves a 17.4% ATE RMSE reduction on outdoor KITTI, 27.7% on indoor EuRoC, and significant improvements on dynamic and synthetic datasets without per‑sequence tuning.
