Out-of-Distribution Semantic Occupancy Prediction

The paper introduces Out-of-Distribution Semantic Occupancy Prediction, a task that focuses on detecting unknown objects in 3D voxel space for autonomous driving. It proposes Realistic Anomaly Augmentation to create two new datasets, VAA-KITTI and VAA-KITTI-360, and presents the OccOoD framework, which uses Cross‑Space Semantic Refinement to improve OoD detection while maintaining semantic occupancy accuracy. Experiments show OccOoD achieves an AuROC of 65.50% and an AuPRCr of 31.83% within a 1.2 m radius, demonstrating strong generalization to real‑world urban scenes.

See More, Detect Less? Taming Information Leakage in Multi-View Anomaly Detection

The paper identifies a problem in multi‑view anomaly detection called cross‑view information leakage, where fusing multiple inspection views can cause normal features to mask anomalies during reconstruction. To address this, the authors propose GLAD, a framework that uses a Global‑Local Attention Driven approach, combining vision foundation model features with two fusion modules: Multi‑view Merging Attention for local, weighted fusion and Object‑Guided Attention for global context aggregation. Experiments on Real‑IAD and MANTA‑Tiny demonstrate that GLAD outperforms existing methods across various metrics, underscoring the importance of restricting information flow to preserve the reconstruction gap.

Visual Prompting Meets Feature Reconstruction-Based Anomaly Detection with Dual-Teacher Supervision

Recent Anomaly Detection methods achieve perfect detection and segmentation scores on well-established datasets, such as MVTec. However, many of these methods face challenges when foundational assumptions - such as consistent object scale, viewpoint, background, illumination, and centered placement - are violated.

Category Level 6D Object Pose Estimation from a Single RGB Image using Diffusion

The paper presents a generative framework that estimates category-level 6D pose and 3D size of objects from a single RGB image, using score-based diffusion models to produce a multi-hypothesis pose distribution. It replaces costly likelihood pruning with a Mean Shift approach to isolate the mode as the final pose estimate, achieving state-of-the-art results on the REAL275 benchmark. The method also decouples detection from pose estimation, enabling robust zero-shot generalisation on the Wild6D dataset and extending naturally to video sequences by propagating the pose distribution over time.
