Feedback World Model Enables Precise Guidance of Diffusion Policy

The paper introduces a feedback world model that updates predictions online using the robot’s observed next state after each action, thereby closing the loop between prediction and observation. This lightweight feedback state corrects future predictions without extra training or parameter updates, and the authors provide convergence guarantees under bounded dynamics residuals. Experiments on LIBERO‑Plus, Robomimic, and real‑world tasks show significant reductions in prediction error (up to 76.4%) and improved policy performance, even when applied to pretrained foundation models like Fast‑WAM‑Joint.

A Control Theory of Predictability in Latent World Models

arXiv:2607. 10362v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Latent world models are trained to predict future states in a learned representation and are then deployed inside a planner that selects actions by simulating them forward.

I Act Therefore I Am: When Is JEPA's Action-Conditioning Enough to Learn Causal Mechanisms?

The paper studies when joint-embedding predictive architectures (JEPAs) can recover underlying causal states from high‑dimensional observations. It introduces a latent variable model where observations arise from causal states with action‑conditioned dynamics, and proposes an information‑theoretic objective that maximizes conditional likelihood while preserving state entropy. The authors prove identifiability conditions—particularly sufficient action‑induced variation—and instantiate the objective as an action‑modulated Gaussian additive‑noise model (A‑JEPA), demonstrating theoretical and empirical success in synthetic and visual benchmarks.

Making Latent Evolution Explicit: Operator-Structured Transitions for World Action Models

The paper introduces the Latent Evolution Operator Network (LEON), a new architecture for modeling latent state transitions in World Action Models (WAMs). LEON uses a learned observable space with context‑modulated operator‑based propagation and additive forcing, grounded in a controlled Koopman generator framework. Experiments on two WAM formulations show that LEON improves closed‑loop performance and robustness, demonstrating that the way transitions are realized is a crucial architectural choice in latent WAMs.
