Automatic modulation classification (AMC) is a key component of cognitive wireless systems, enabling spectrum awareness and adaptive communication. Most deep learning approaches to AMC assume a fixed...
arXiv:2608. 11690v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Continual learning must absorb new tasks without erasing old ones, and replay---mixing a small buffer of past examples into current training---is among the most effective remedies for catastrophic forgetting.
The paper introduces SVC, a parameter‑efficient continual‑learning method for large language models that uses singular‑vector channels as the unit for balancing plasticity and stability. By estimating each channel’s adaptation benefit and forgetting cost from domain‑specific and general‑domain data, SVC selectively updates only the most beneficial channels, employing knee‑based cost screening, Pareto‑front filtering, and Otsu thresholding. Experiments on four LLM families and eight downstream tasks show that SVC preserves pretrained capabilities while achieving strong performance compared to existing PEFT baselines.
arXiv:2607. 04364v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Continual post-training is becoming a central paradigm for adapting vision-language models to evolving tasks.
arXiv:2606. 08452v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: In many real-world settings, data streams are nonstationary and arrive sequentially, requiring learning systems to adapt continuously without retraining from scratch.
arXiv:2607. 09202v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Continual learning commonly relies on post-hoc mechanisms such as replay, elastic regularization, or distillation.
