Fast Pose Tracking of Rigid Objects with Compact Pose Graph Optimization

The paper presents a lightweight 6D pose tracking method that operates on relative pose constraints instead of point-based optimization, using uncertainty derived from geometric alignment to weight these constraints. By avoiding direct inclusion of noisy point measurements, the approach achieves fast and robust long-term tracking with computational costs far lower than reconstruction-based trackers. Experiments on four real-world benchmarks show comparable accuracy to state-of-the-art methods while maintaining real-time performance.

Track2Art: Motion-Centric Articulated Object Model Recovery from 2D Point Trackers

Track2Art is a motion‑centric framework that recovers articulated object models from RGB‑D interaction videos by lifting 2D point tracks into 3D trajectories. It groups these trajectories into rigid‑part hypotheses and uses learned‑analytic reasoning to infer directed kinematic relations, joint types, and joint geometry. On the PartNet‑Mobility benchmark, it achieves 0.695 Point IoU and 0.410 end‑to‑end J@20 without requiring ground‑truth part counts or test‑time optimization.

ReLift: Dense 3D Tracking as Lifted Trajectory Repair

ReLift presents a feed‑forward framework that treats dense 3D tracking as a problem of repairing and completing lifted trajectories. By alternating attention along and across trajectories, it corrects depth and correspondence errors, and fills in missing motion, all while training solely on simulated 3D trajectory data. The method improves lifted trajectories from any 2D tracker or geometry model, achieving state‑of‑the‑art accuracy on WorldTrack and running faster than leading 4D trackers.

Point2Pose: Occlusion-Recovering 6D Pose Tracking and 3D Reconstruction for Multiple Unknown Objects Via 2D Point Trackers

Point2Pose is a model‑free method for causal 6D pose tracking of multiple rigid objects using monocular RGB‑D video. It starts from sparse image points and employs a 2D point tracker to maintain long‑range correspondences, allowing instant recovery after complete occlusion. The system also incrementally builds an online Truncated Signed Distance Function (TSDF) representation of the tracked objects and introduces a new multi‑object tracking dataset with motion‑capture ground truth.

Reliability-Regulated Trajectory Optimization for Progressive COLMAP-Free 3D Gaussian Splatting

The paper introduces a reliability-regulated trajectory optimization framework for progressive COLMAP‑free 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS). It uses a self‑supervised bidirectional cycle‑consistency mechanism to control camera trajectory estimation through forward motion propagation and retrospective trajectory correction, thereby reducing error compounding without external priors. Experiments on Tanks and Temples and CO3D‑V2 demonstrate improved camera trajectory accuracy and novel‑view rendering quality compared to existing unposed baselines.

TAPVid-MV: A Benchmark for Tracking Any Point in 3D Across Multiple Views

TAPVid-MV is a new benchmark for tracking any point in 3D across multiple synchronized camera views. It comprises 284 sequences, 1,142 calibrated camera streams, and 109,769 point tracks, covering indoor and outdoor domains and derived from various modalities such as depth, LiDAR, SLAM, and simulation. The dataset is visually verified, and evaluation shows that current multi‑view trackers do not consistently outperform monocular trackers, highlighting geometry recovery as a key bottleneck.
