Argus: Metric Panoramic 3D Reconstruction for Indoor Scenes

Metric feed-forward 3D reconstruction for panoramic data remains under-explored due to the lack of large-scale panoramic RGB-D training data. We present Realsee3D, a hybrid dataset of 10K indoor scenes (1K real, 9K synthetic) with 299K panoramic viewpoints and precise metric annotations, and Argus, a feed-forward network trained on it for metric panoramic 3D reconstruction.

Visual Relocalization from Sparse Views in Aliased and Low-Texture Environments via Novel View Synthesis

Visual localization becomes extremely challenging in planetary-like terrains characterized by low texture, perceptual aliasing, harsh illumination, and sparse, weakly overlapping viewpoints induced by forward rover motion and unconstrained driving directions. Under these conditions, state-of-the-art image-to-image and image-to-map matching pipelines suffer significant performance degradation.

SwiftGS: Episodic Priors for Immediate Satellite Surface Recovery

arXiv:2603. 18634v3 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Rapid, large-scale 3D reconstruction from multi-date satellite imagery is vital for environmental monitoring, urban planning, and disaster response, yet remains difficult due to illumination changes, sensor heterogeneity, and the cost of per-scene optimization.

BA-T: An Iterative Transformer for Two-View Bundle Adjustment

Feed-forward models for 3D reconstruction have achieved strong performance using deep cross-view attention to exchange information across images. However, these approaches often depend on heavy decoder stacks and lack a structured mechanism for geometry refinement, resulting in poor multi-view consistency.
