Synthesizing realistic Human-Object Interactions (HOI) is critical for creating embodied avatars and functional virtual environments. However, current data-driven approaches primarily rely on motion capture datasets, which are expensive to scale and limited in functional diversity.

Recent advances in image-to-video generation have improved visual realism, making physically grounded and controllable dynamics an important step toward future world simulation. Current models often generate plausible motion, but it is not reliably governed by explicit physical causes, and instance-level constraints can leak or become entangled in multi-object interactions.

FlexPart is a new framework that enables text‑controlled, semantics‑aware 3D mesh segmentation at any desired granularity. It introduces a holistic control prompt that combines part names with location and shape clauses, and uses a Vision‑Language Model pipeline to generate a large multi‑granularity dataset. The model produces a view‑independent part‑identity field in 3D space, and an inference‑time VLM planner can auto‑complete descriptive clauses from 2D renderings, allowing users to specify parts with ordinary words. FlexPart outperforms strong baselines by up to 22% in mIoU on its benchmark and improves selective segmentation by 35% over click‑driven methods.

Neural Voxel Dynamics introduces a self‑supervised framework that learns 3D latent dynamics from monocular video by unprojecting V‑JEPAs features into a voxel grid using depth priors. It then applies Volumetric Feature Advection, an action‑conditioned transition model, to predict the evolution of these latent features directly in 3D, without relying on privileged physics‑engine states. The method is evaluated on synthetic and real datasets, demonstrating predictive fidelity, 3D geometric consistency, and physical plausibility via Physics‑IQ metrics.

PhysVGGT is a feed‑forward model that predicts dense maps of friction coefficient, Shore hardness, Young's modulus, and density, along with object‑level mass, from a single RGB image in one forward pass. It treats physical property estimation as a dense per‑pixel prediction problem, using a visual geometry transformer to extract geometry‑aware tokens and separate dense and global prediction branches. A scalable pseudo‑label generation pipeline enables large‑scale weakly supervised training, and the model achieves state‑of‑the‑art performance on the ABO‑500 dataset while running 27× faster than previous methods.

UniRAP is a unified model that infers part-level physical affordances and translates language instructions into actionable geometric representations. It treats the task as a conditional multimodal generation problem, integrating visual inputs, textual instructions, and optional prompts into a shared spatiotemporal representation via a unified interface token mechanism. The model employs a Unified Affordance Decoder to jointly perform object detection, part-level affordance segmentation, and 4‑DoF interaction pose estimation, and uses a curriculum-based transfer training strategy to improve data efficiency with limited textual annotations.
