CoMVS‑GS is a surface‑reconstruction framework that fuses Multi‑View Stereo (MVS) with 3D Gaussian splatting. It initializes Gaussian primitives from dense MVS points, uses PatchMatch‑3DGS mutual supervision to refine depths and normals, and replaces voxel‑based meshing with a Delaunay graph‑cut pipeline. Experiments on DTU, GauU‑Scene V2, and MatrixCity demonstrate competitive object‑level results and improved geometric accuracy and mesh compactness in outdoor scenes while preserving high rendering quality.
The paper introduces E‑RGB‑D, a real‑time event‑based perception system that combines a Digital Light Processing projector with a monochrome event camera to produce RGB‑D data. By projecting structured light and capturing asynchronous brightness changes, the system can detect color and depth for each pixel, achieving a color detection speed of 1400 fps and a depth detection rate of 4 kHz. The approach enables frameless RGB‑D sensing and delivers colorful point clouds without compromising spatial resolution.

Editable 3D scene creation requires object instances and lights that can be inspected, moved, and imported into standard engines, yet existing single-image methods largely stop at room-scale geometry, baked/global illumination, or text-driven generation. We introduce Lumera (Light-aware Unified Engine-native Reconstruction and Assembly), a benchmark and reference pipeline for engine-native, light-aware 3D scene parsing from a single image.

MEGA is a new framework that extracts object-level, watertight meshes from 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) scenes. It uses a segment-then-mesh approach, leveraging Spatial Visual Distillation (SVD) to sample diverse camera views of each segmented object and train a mesh reconstruction model with photometric supervision. Experiments on popular benchmarks show that MEGA outperforms existing methods in accurately recovering object-level 3D occupancy and supports complex physical interactions by combining high-quality meshes with photorealistic 3DGS rendering.

Projector-camera (ProCams) systems achieve active scene perception and controllable appearance manipulation via structured illumination, serving as a core infrastructure for spatial augmented reality, projection mapping, and surface reflectance acquisition. Existing inverse-rendering methods for ProCams deliver high-fidelity results but rely on time-consuming per-scene optimization, while mainstream feed-forward 3D reconstruction models produce baked appearance that cannot adapt to spatially varying projector illumination.
STARS-GS is a new structure‑aware 3D Gaussian Splatting framework designed for large‑scale aerial surface reconstruction. It introduces a scene partitioning strategy that preserves continuous scene elements, a neighborhood‑aware Gaussian organization that extends geometric constraints to local neighborhoods, and an adaptive surface regularization that tailors regularization strength to local geometry. Experiments on aerial photogrammetry benchmarks show that STARS‑GS improves the average F1‑score from 0.640 to 0.698, a relative gain of about 9.1%.
