GPU-Accelerated Inverse Structural Anastylosis from Block Collapse Dynamics

arXiv:2606. 28394v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: The physical anastylosis of collapsed architectural monuments -- the meticulous reassembly of fallen stone elements into their original structural configuration -- represents one of the most intellectually demanding challenges in conservation science.

Neptuna: A Comprehensive Machine Learning Framework for Benchmarking Complex Multiphase Flows

arXiv:2607. 22280v2 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Compressible multiphase flows involving shocks and material interfaces arise in applications such as bubble collapse and droplet breakup, where strong nonlinear interactions produce complex interface deformation, mixing, and multiscale dynamics.

CADFit: Precise Mesh-to-CAD Program Generation with Hybrid Optimization

arXiv:2605. 01171v2 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Despite recent progress, recovering parametric CAD construction sequences from geometric input, such as meshes or point clouds, is a key challenge for design and manufacturing, as existing CAD reconstruction and generation methods are largely restricted to difficult-to-edit formats like meshes or Breps or editable simple sketch-and-extrude pipelines and low-complexity datasets.

Geometric Foundation Model Distillation for Efficient Lunar 3D Reconstruction

Large 3D foundation models such as MASt3R achieve state-of-the-art stereo reconstruction but are computationally demanding for deployment under strict hardware constraints -- a critical limitation in domains such as planetary exploration, where onboard computing is severely restricted. We study how far such models can be compressed through knowledge distillation, using lunar stereo reconstruction as a challenging and practically relevant case study.

LLM Compression by Block Removal with Constrained Binary Optimization

arXiv:2602. 00161v2 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: In this paper, we formulate the compression of large language models (LLMs) by optimally deleting transformer blocks (``block removal'') as a constrained binary optimization (CBO) problem that can be mapped to a physical system (Ising glass), whose energies are a strong proxy for downstream model performance.
