MedPAO-Assist: Edge-Deployable, Modality-Aware Agentic AI for Radiology Report Structuring

Read the original on arXiv AI →

MedPAO-Assist is an edge‑deployable, agentic AI framework that structures radiology reports from radiologist dictation and voice commands using only about 3.3 GB of RAM and an average latency of 31 seconds on a standard laptop CPU. It supports four imaging modalities—Chest X‑ray, Chest CT, Abdomen CT, and Brain MRI—and operates entirely with a 0.6 B‑parameter small language model, avoiding cloud APIs or high‑end GPUs. The system follows an Extract‑Ground‑Generate pipeline, performing concept extraction, SNOMED‑CT grounding, structured report generation, and a speech‑driven human‑in‑the‑loop correction phase, enabling a fully “no‑touch” reporting workflow that requires no keyboard input or internet connectivity.

RadOnc-Agent: An LLM-Orchestrated Framework for AI Workflows Across the Radiotherapy Care Pathway

RadOnc-Agent is an AI framework that organizes radiotherapy into four clinical phases and offers 26 callable functions via a conversational interface. A large‑language‑model controller maps clinical intent to schema‑constrained calls, maintains patient and workflow context, and routes requests to specialist services. In evaluations, the system achieved high accuracy in single‑function calls (98.79%) and cross‑stage workflow completions (96.50% scripted, 96.67% real‑patient), demonstrating technical feasibility of LLM‑orchestrated coordination across heterogeneous radiotherapy capabilities.

A Cloud-Edge System for Multimodal Clinical Screening in Resource-Constrained Rural Settings

arXiv:2608. 12745v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Medical AI has demonstrated specialist-level diagnostic accuracy, yet these capabilities remain largely inaccessible in resource-constrained rural settings where bandwidth is scarce, compute is limited, and clinical decision-making requires integrating heterogeneous modalities.
