SACQ introduces a structured prediction head for long‑horizon time‑series forecasting that replaces the traditional flatten readout. It uses a two‑stage decoding process: a coarse patch‑grid scaffold is first generated, then each future position is refined via cross‑attention over historical memory, with a learned gate merging the corrections. A batch‑adaptive scaled log‑cosh loss further stabilizes training under long horizons and noisy labels, leading to superior MSE/MAE performance across multiple backbones with minimal overhead.

VertiFuseX is a hybrid LSTM architecture that fuses multi‑scale temporal representations at the penultimate layer, stacking features from LSTM, Bi‑LSTM, and St‑LSTM branches and a parallel DNN stream. On 15 years of global equity index data, it reduces MAPE by 30‑54% and improves MAE and RMSE by over 40% compared to LSTM baselines, outperforming seven state‑of‑the‑art models across 33 metric‑dataset comparisons. The model is lightweight (675k parameters, 2.6 MB footprint) with 1.5 ms/sample inference latency and demonstrates robust, interpretable forecasting with reduced drawdowns in algorithmic trading simulations.

The paper introduces the Progressive Memory Transformer (PMT), a transformer variant that adds writable, window‑aligned memory to expose mid‑range representations alongside token and sequence‑level outputs. PMT is trained with a hierarchical learning framework that applies separate objectives at local, mid‑range, and global scales, encouraging the model to capture fine‑grained variation, window‑level motifs, and overall sequence agreement. Experiments on seven UCR/UEA/UCI classification datasets, a cue‑retention probe, and forecasting tasks show that PMT achieves strong low‑label classification performance, competitive multi‑horizon forecasting, and evidence that its memory states encode mid‑range motifs.

SETTer is a transformer-based model designed for long‑term multivariate time‑series forecasting. It introduces decoupled self‑attention and hybrid masking to better handle high dimensionality and complex relationships, while adding explainable structures to highlight discriminative patterns. Experiments on real‑world benchmarks show that SETTer outperforms state‑of‑the‑art models in 88% of scenarios.

The paper introduces HART, a Hybrid Attention-RWKV Time-series Foundation Model that alternates attention and RWKV blocks to improve long-horizon forecasting. It identifies a problem in RWKV-7 called Placeholder Idling Decay, where repeated state transitions degrade historical information during non-autoregressive multi-step forecasting. Experiments on GIFT-Eval and TIME-Benchmark show that HART outperforms pure RWKV on medium and long horizons while matching short-horizon performance, and achieves comparable long-horizon MASE to a much larger Transformer with only 36 M parameters.
