The paper introduces Drift‑Aware Sparse Routing (DRS), a method for routing requests in a multi‑model language service while respecting compute, latency, memory, or cost budgets. DRS estimates reward and resource use from a rolling audit window, routes using pessimistic reward and optimistic cost estimates, updates resource shadow prices online, and applies a hard meter before commitment. The authors provide theoretical regret bounds that separate control from statistics, showing how the method adapts to non‑stationary prompt distributions and model changes.

FIRM-WM is a compact pixel world model that separates a goal‑comparable configuration from a 128‑dimensional dynamic fiber, enabling reward‑free visual planning from offline videos. It addresses two key mismatches: aligning planning states with goal images and reconciling factual trajectories with interventional sampling. In experiments, FIRM‑WM achieves high success rates on TwoRoom, Reacher, and OGBench‑Cube while using fewer parameters and faster planning times than prior models.

HaM-World introduces a structured world model that combines history-conditioned selective memory with a Soft‑Hamiltonian latent dynamics prior. The model decomposes the latent state into a canonical (q,p) subspace governed by an energy‑derived Hamiltonian vector field and a context subspace c capturing non‑conservative factors, while Mamba selective state‑space memory conditions the transition used for prediction, reward, value estimation, and planning. Across six DeepMind Control Suite tasks, HaM-World achieves top rankings on four tasks, improves average AUC, reduces imagined‑rollout error by 45% on short‑to‑medium horizons, and outperforms baselines under 12 out‑of‑distribution perturbations.

The paper introduces PrefDT, a preference-conditioned Decision Transformer designed for multi‑objective scheduling of UAV mobile edge computing fleets. PrefDT accepts a desired energy‑delay trade‑off as input, enabling a single offline‑trained model to generate any point on the Pareto front during runtime. The authors employ attention pooling with a per‑user bypass to maintain scheduler operation when user reports are lost, and a distillation pipeline to create a preference‑labeled flight corpus, achieving superior trade‑off curves and tight energy budget adherence in simulations.

Joint-Embedding Predictive Architectures (JEPAs) underpin a growing family of latent world models for control from raw pixels, but every existing JEPA world model commits at training time to a single inference paradigm: either trajectory optimisation in a learned dynamics model, or direct behaviour cloning. A single checkpoint that serves both would defer this choice to inference, when deployment constraints (rollout cost, observation accessibility) determine which path wins.
