NeuroSymbEAD: A Large Scale Neuro-Symbolic Caption Dataset for Omni-Directional Embodied Autonomous Driving

NeuroSymbEAD is a large‑scale neuro‑symbolic caption dataset that builds an ego‑centric knowledge graph of static and dynamic objects on the KITTI‑360 dataset, annotating classes, categories, heading directions, orientations, and distances from the ego‑vehicle. The dataset generates multilevel textual captions that serve as a lightweight representation of an ego‑centric scene map, enabling outdoor scene‑map reconstruction, visual recognition, and object grounding. Baselines for driving common sense and traffic/scene understanding are established, and the dataset is benchmarked using pre‑trained grounding and learned auto‑regressive captioning networks to support vision‑language and foundation models for traffic‑scene explanation, 3D reasoning, and interpretable autonomous‑driving perception.

MatchFusion: Explicit-Implicit Instance Matching for Spatio-Temporal Multimodal Autonomous Driving

MatchFusion is a learnable module that performs explicit-implicit instance matching for spatio‑temporal multimodal autonomous driving. It initializes pairwise affinities with geometric similarity and category consistency, then refines associations using instance embeddings to guide a residual aggregation operator for adaptive information exchange. Experiments on nuScenes show that MatchFusion improves perception accuracy, reduces FLOPs by 55.3% and GPU memory usage by 39.3%, and adds only 3.7% of total perception latency.

SOMA: A Benchmark for Fine-Grained Egocentric Behavior and Body-Motion Understanding

SOMA is a new benchmark that tests fine‑grained egocentric body‑motion understanding, featuring 1,632 human‑verified questions across body configuration, motion dynamics, and temporal reasoning. The study evaluates 37 multimodal large language models (MLLMs) and finds that humans achieve 68.5% accuracy while the best MLLM (Qwen3.6‑27B) reaches only 50.0% zero‑shot accuracy. The authors also provide a training dataset and a multimodal baseline to help close the performance gap and highlight common failure modes such as misreading body parts and temporal errors.

Where, How, and When: Query-Guided Grounding for Video Understanding

The paper introduces query‑guided grounding methods for video understanding, covering object‑level, relationship‑level, and moment‑level tasks. For object grounding, QDETRv and TOViT enable one‑shot and few‑shot localization of unseen objects using query‑context fusion, memory modules, and language‑aligned vision encoders. Relationship grounding is addressed with a few‑shot referring framework that optimizes a T‑partite random field, while moment grounding is tackled by the Moment Alignment Transformer (MATR), which employs dynamic time warping and self‑supervised pretraining for video‑to‑video and text‑to‑video retrieval.

UniRAP: Towards Unified Part-level Physical Affordance Reasoning and Actionable Perception

UniRAP is a unified model that infers part-level physical affordances and translates language instructions into actionable geometric representations. It treats the task as a conditional multimodal generation problem, integrating visual inputs, textual instructions, and optional prompts into a shared spatiotemporal representation via a unified interface token mechanism. The model employs a Unified Affordance Decoder to jointly perform object detection, part-level affordance segmentation, and 4‑DoF interaction pose estimation, and uses a curriculum-based transfer training strategy to improve data efficiency with limited textual annotations.
