ASV3D: Adapting Diffusion-Based Single-View 3D Reconstruction with Extra Imagery

ASV3D is a framework that adapts diffusion-based single-view 3D reconstruction to incorporate an additional image at test time. It offers a zero‑shot adaptation that improves reconstruction quality without retraining, and an optimized adaptation that uses contrastive learning to enhance visual fidelity and cross‑view consistency. The method is applied to two state‑of‑the‑art pipelines, showing consistent gains in accuracy and robustness on benchmark and real‑world datasets.

PRISM: Feed-Forward Single-Image 3D Reconstruction via Geometric Warp-Residual Modeling

Reconstructing 3D scenes from a single image is a fundamental challenge in computer vision, with broad applications in virtual reality, robotics, and content creation. Recent methods achieve outstanding performance by leveraging camera-controlled video diffusion models, but rely on iterative diffusion sampling, which greatly limits their practical deployment.

OPERA: Object Perception Enhances Single-view 3D Reconstruction

OPERA is a framework that improves single‑view 3D reconstruction by guiding multi‑view diffusion sampling with pretrained perception models through lightweight alignment modules. The modules are trained independently while keeping the generative and perception models frozen, enabling multiple signals to be combined at inference without joint fusion training. Experiments on Google Scanned Objects and OmniObject3D show that OPERA reduces mean Chamfer Distance by 30.4% and 24.8% on the primary baseline compared to unguided reconstruction.

PoseDreamer: Scalable and Photorealistic Human Data Generation Pipeline with Diffusion Models

PoseDreamer is a new pipeline that uses diffusion models to generate large‑scale synthetic datasets for 3D human mesh estimation, providing 3D mesh annotations that remain aligned with the generated images. The system incorporates controllable image generation, Direct Preference Optimization for control alignment, curriculum‑based hard sample mining, and multi‑stage quality filtering to produce over 500,000 high‑quality samples with a 76% improvement in image‑quality metrics over traditional rendering‑based datasets. Models trained on PoseDreamer match or surpass those trained on real‑world or conventional synthetic data, and combining PoseDreamer with synthetic datasets yields better performance than mixing real and synthetic data alone.

Video Generative Models as Geometry Learner

The paper introduces GeoNeXt, a framework that repurposes pretrained video generative models for geometry estimation by framing it as a next‑frame prediction task. Unlike prior methods that either train separate depth/normal models or fine‑tune image diffusion backbones, GeoNeXt jointly models images and geometric targets, leveraging the structured knowledge of video models for more data‑efficient learning. Experiments show zero‑shot monocular depth and surface normal estimation that outperforms existing generative approaches and rivals discriminative state‑of‑the‑art methods while using far less training data.

Spackle: Completing Large View Single Image NVS with Adaptive Gaussians

Spackle is a lightweight residual learning framework designed to improve large-view single-image novel view synthesis (NVS) by mitigating capacity competition in hybrid decoupled systems that combine 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) and diffusion models. It operates in three stages: predicting base 3DGS attributes, automatically identifying poorly reconstructed regions, and learning a residual 3DGS focused on those areas. During inference, Spackle merges the baseline and augmented Gaussians to produce high-fidelity novel views, achieving state‑of‑the‑art performance on large-view-deviation cases.

Category Level 6D Object Pose Estimation from a Single RGB Image using Diffusion

The paper presents a generative framework that estimates category-level 6D pose and 3D size of objects from a single RGB image, using score-based diffusion models to produce a multi-hypothesis pose distribution. It replaces costly likelihood pruning with a Mean Shift approach to isolate the mode as the final pose estimate, achieving state-of-the-art results on the REAL275 benchmark. The method also decouples detection from pose estimation, enabling robust zero-shot generalisation on the Wild6D dataset and extending naturally to video sequences by propagating the pose distribution over time.

AnyView: Synthesizing Any Novel View in Dynamic Scenes

AnyView is a diffusion-based video generation framework designed for dynamic view synthesis, requiring minimal inductive biases or geometric assumptions. It trains a generalist spatiotemporal implicit representation using diverse data sources—monocular, multi-view static, and multi-view dynamic—to produce zero-shot novel videos from arbitrary camera locations and trajectories. The authors evaluate AnyView on standard benchmarks, introduce a new challenging benchmark called AnyViewBench for extreme dynamic view synthesis, and demonstrate that AnyView outperforms baselines in maintaining realistic, plausible, and spatiotemporally consistent videos across diverse real-world scenarios.
