VINCIE-NExT: Unlocking Video Editing from Images via In-Context Modeling

VINCIE‑NExT is a unified framework that transfers image editing capabilities to video editing by using in‑context visual demonstrations. It decomposes video editing into a chain of sub‑tasks (Video → Image → Image → Video), routing editing intent through the image domain and enabling joint training from heterogeneous image and video data under a single diffusion objective. The method introduces a novel position encoding to link image demonstrations and video frames, allowing pixel‑faithful appearance propagation, and supports test‑time scaling through progressive diffusion stages.

STAGE: Subspace-Targeted Affine Generative Erasure for Text-to-3D Models

STAGE is a training‑free, closed‑form framework for concept erasure in native text‑to‑3D generators. It treats erasure as a stage‑aware editing problem, applying low‑dimensional affine corrections separately to the structural and appearance stages of the pipeline. Experiments on the TRELLIS generator show that STAGE outperforms adapted baselines, achieving a composite score of 66.7 versus 53.2 across 15 shape, material, and object concepts.

EditHero: A Benchmark for Long-Horizon Part-Level 3D Editing and Vibe Modeling

EditHero is presented as the first benchmark for long-horizon, part-level 3D editing, featuring natural-language instructions and target images for both geometry and texture. The benchmark uses a deterministic assembly engine that produces the exact target after each edit, and every sequence is manually reviewed. It compares non-agentic top‑down methods with LLM/VLM agent bottom‑up approaches, finding that the latter follow instructions more closely and preserve unedited parts better, though each edit takes minutes.

One Evaluation Is Enough: Inversion-Free Image Editing with Trajectory Correction

The paper introduces Endpoint‑Calibrated Transport (ECT), a closed‑form, training‑free image editor that performs inversion‑free editing with a single temporal field evaluation. ECT leverages a duality in variance‑preserving one‑step models to compute a local angular semantic tangent and a clean endpoint displacement from one source‑target query at a shared noisy state. By integrating the tangent over the remaining VP angle and correcting the extrapolation with the endpoint displacement, ECT requires only one noise level, two text conditions in one denoiser batch, and a single latent update, achieving stable quality gains in very short editing time.

Edit-VAR: Taming Visual Autoregressive Model for Precise Video Editing

Edit‑VAR is a training‑free, inversion‑free framework that uses a pretrained visual autoregressive video model for text‑guided video editing. It encodes the source video into multi‑scale discrete tokens and applies probability‑guided conditional token replacement, attention‑guided token‑wise and scale‑aware modulation, and scale‑decoupled generation to preserve source appearance while enabling precise edits. The method also includes residual‑guided token pruning to reduce inference cost, and experimental results show it outperforms existing training‑free video editing methods in fidelity, source preservation, temporal coherence, and efficiency.
