CF-YOLO introduces a real‑time detection framework for camouflaged micro‑defects on industrial components, combining a Context‑Perception Aggregation Module (CPAM) that fuses large‑kernel macro‑texture cues with small‑kernel boundary details, and a Feature Additive Refinement Module (FARM) that globally refines fine‑grained anomaly representations. The authors also release the Copper Tube Defect Dataset (CTDD), a benchmark of 1,847 images with 4,898 annotated defect boxes. Experiments show CF‑YOLO outperforms baseline detectors such as YOLOv11 by 2.2% in mAP@50 and 3.9% in Precision while preserving real‑time speed.

The paper introduces Gated Token Recurrence (GTR), a softmax‑free recurrent vision backbone that replaces global softmax attention with gated linear attention, alternating scan directions, and enhanced SwiGLU blocks. GTR is distilled from a DINOv3 teacher using only final‑layer patch‑token alignment, and achieves strong performance on COCO object detection (58.9 box AP) with very low latency (1.908 ms on an RTX 4090). The backbone also transfers to multiple dense prediction tasks and runs efficiently on edge hardware via a specialized CUDA operator and TensorRT deployment.

STA‑Net is a lightweight neural network designed for plant disease classification on edge devices. It combines a training‑free neural architecture search (DeepMAD) to build an efficient backbone with a novel Shape‑Texture Attention Module (STAM) that separates shape and texture processing using deformable convolutions and a Gabor filter bank. On the CCMT plant disease dataset, STA‑Net achieved 89.00% accuracy and 88.96% F1 score with only 401K parameters and 51.1M FLOPs.

arXiv:2606. 06536v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Automated defect detection in high-voltage transmission-line insulators remains challenging due to severe class imbalance, large scale variation, and the small spatial extent of defect instances in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) imagery.

Steel surface defect segmentation is critical for industrial quality inspection, yet existing methods struggle with elongated, anisotropic defects such as cracks and scratches due to the isotropic receptive fields of standard convolutions and rigid sampling grids that cannot adapt to irregular defect boundaries. To address these limitations, we propose Strip-based Predictor for Deformable Convolutional Networks (SPDCN) with two key innovations.
MEVL-STP introduces a two‑stage pipeline for spotting arbitrarily shaped scene text. The detection stage fuses features from six frozen vision encoders via a hierarchical Feature Pyramid Network and a Progressive Scale Expansion network to produce precise polygon masks. The recognition stage then crops these masks and feeds them to a fine‑tuned Qwen3‑VL‑8B‑Instruct model, achieving state‑of‑the‑art detection and end‑to‑end performance on CTW1500, Total‑Text, and ICDAR 2015 without synthetic pretraining.
