ReCoLoRA: Spectrum-Aware Recursive Consolidation for Continual LLM Fine-Tuning

arXiv:2607. 07719v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Parameter-efficient fine-tuning adapts a large language model to one task cheaply, but across a task sequence LoRA-style methods keep stacking low-rank updates on the same frozen weight, so each new task tends to overwrite the previous ones.

InduceKV: Fixed-Footprint Continual Adaptation of Multimodal LLMs via Inducing KV Memories

arXiv:2607. 02010v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Multimodal large language models must adapt to evolving tasks and domains, yet continual improvement under bounded deployment footprint remains difficult because repeated parameter updates or growing replay stores can accumulate adaptation state over time.

Soft-TransFormers for Continual Learning

arXiv:2411. 16073v4 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Inspired by the Well-initialized Lottery Ticket Hypothesis (WLTH), we introduce Soft-TransFormers (Soft-TF), a continual learning framework that adapts a frozen pre-trained Transformer through task-specific soft subnetworks: real-valued multiplicative masks over the query, key, value, and output projections of selected self-attention layers.

InduceKV: Fixed-Footprint Continual Adaptation of Multimodal LLMs via Inducing KV Memories

Multimodal large language models must adapt to evolving tasks and domains, yet continual improvement under bounded deployment footprint remains difficult because repeated parameter updates or growing replay stores can accumulate adaptation state over time. We study fixed-footprint continual adaptation: the deployed adaptation state is kept under a fixed memory budget, while the backbone model is left unchanged and task-specific updates are externalized.

Neural Subspace Reallocation: Continual Learning as Retrieval-Based Subspace Memory Management

We introduce Neural Subspace Reallocation (NSR), which reframes continual learning as memory management over parameter subspaces. Instead of treating Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA) modules as disposable per-task adapters, NSR manages them as compressible, retrievable memory units on a frozen backbone through a recurring cycle: (1) compress learned LoRAs via SVD, (2) reserve them in a TaskKnowledgeBank, (3) recall related past LoRAs by embedding similarity to warm-start new or returning tasks, and (4) reallocate the active subspace accordingly, with distillation protecting prior tasks.

ISO: An RLVR-Native Optimization Stack

arXiv:2607. 19331v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Reinforcement learning with verifiable rewards (RLVR) is rapidly advancing the reasoning capabilities of language models, yet the optimization layer that converts reward feedback into weight-space updates remains poorly understood.
