BiGrounder introduces a bidirectional training paradigm for GUI grounding, enabling models to generate action descriptions from target coordinates during supervised fine‑tuning and to sample semantically consistent instruction variations during reinforcement learning. This cycle‑consistency approach couples semantic quality with grounding success, allowing the model’s own instruction policy to provide continually refreshed reinforcement trajectories. The 4B‑parameter BiGrounder achieves competitive accuracy across five grounding benchmarks, demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed training paradigm.

Autonomous mobile GUI agents require accurate action reflection for reliable long-horizon execution. Existing approaches rely on open-ended multimodal reasoning after each action, which is costly and poorly matched to the structured nature of GUI state transitions.

The paper introduces a reinforcement learning post‑training scheme that trains robot world models on their own autoregressive rollouts, using a contrastive RL objective adapted from diffusion models. It also proposes a training protocol that compares multiple variable‑length futures, a multi‑view visual fidelity reward, and demonstrates state‑of‑the‑art rollout fidelity on the DROID dataset, outperforming baselines on LPIPS, SSIM, and human preference tests.

MAI-Gym is an open, all-in-one platform that unifies GUI agent evaluation, data collection, and online reinforcement learning training across mobile, computer, and web environments. It supports ten established benchmarks, scales to 20,000 parallel environment instances, and enables automated synthesis of diverse GUI applications and tasks with execution-validated verifiers. Using this platform, the authors trained a 9B-parameter agent, MAI-Gym-9B, achieving state‑of‑the‑art performance on MobileWorld and OSWorld-Verified, and demonstrated that training on a mocked train‑ticketing app improves real‑world task success from 28.8% to 48.1% on a physical phone.
