arXiv:2412. 03771v3 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Zero-shot learning enables models to generalise to unseen classes by leveraging semantic information, bridging the gap between training and testing sets with non-overlapping classes.

arXiv:2512. 10120v2 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: General-purpose audio representations aim to map acoustically variable instances of the same event to nearby points, resolving content identity in a zero-shot setting.

SCAPES is a lightweight, resource‑efficient generative model that synthesizes high‑fidelity environmental sounds with high‑level semantic control. It operates on the continuous latent manifold of a neural audio codec, using a segmentation strategy and a Continuous Normalizing Flow to model latent trajectories. A 36‑million‑parameter instance can be trained on limited, uncurated data with a single consumer‑grade GPU, achieving convergence in roughly twice the source audio duration and enabling smooth semantic interpolation.

arXiv:2605. 13672v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Few-shot classification (FSC) is widely used for learning from limited labeled data, yet most evaluations implicitly assume that target concepts are independent of contextual cues.

arXiv:2607. 01297v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Most existing audio classification methods suppose that each query (testing) sample belongs to a class of support (training) samples, and misrecognize samples of unseen classes as seen classes (cannot reject samples of unseen classes).

SsgCaps is a publicly available dataset of human-engineered sound scenes, each paired with a precisely structured prompt that guides the sampling process. The prompts are drawn from a predefined action-based typology, enabling extensive yet plausible sampling. A comparative quantitative analysis shows only small differences between the open and private versions, supporting the recommendation of the open version for benchmarking sound scene generation algorithms.

AnchorPrompt is an adaptation technique for large audio‑language models that keeps the base model frozen and learns a single block of prompt vectors inserted at the decoder input. By training these prompts through self‑distillation on diverse audio and text perturbations, the method improves answer consistency and reduces hallucinations across multiple benchmarks. The approach is perturbation‑agnostic at inference, enabling zero‑shot transfer to unseen distortions such as reverberation and choice permutations.

arXiv:2606. 14788v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Voice-based screening offers a scalable and non-invasive way to assess neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease (AD) and Parkinson's disease (PD), but their staging remains challenging due to the difficulty of integrating heterogeneous data.
