The paper introduces FROST, an online framework that filters synthetic training data by estimating its utility through gradient feedback anchored in real data. FROST calibrates batch utility against recent history to decide when to filter, removing 20–30% of synthetic samples while improving performance on image classification and LLM fine-tuning tasks. The method is also applied to a large‑scale industrial ads re‑ranking system, yielding significant gains over an optimized production baseline.

RankGround is a two‑stage framework for GUI grounding that uses a single Vision‑Language Model call per query. It introduces GroundRanker, a lightweight multimodal reranker that selects the most promising crop from a dense candidate set, trained with a two‑stage curriculum on ranking supervision data derived from existing grounding datasets. Experiments show RankGround outperforms strong baselines, achieving 1.4× faster inference and a 5.5% average improvement in localization accuracy over the second‑best method across all backbones and screen scales.

IVSGround introduces a lightweight view selector that learns to choose the most informative camera views for vision‑language model (VLM) based 3D visual grounding, replacing heuristic view selection. The selector is trained via a two‑stage rejection sampling process that uses feedback from a reasoning VLM to generate supervision signals. Experiments on ScanRefer and NR3D demonstrate that IVSGround consistently improves grounding accuracy over existing zero‑shot pipelines, underscoring the importance of selecting where to look for effective 3D visual grounding.

SR‑Ground is a large‑scale dataset created to enable fine‑grained segmentation of visual artifacts in super‑resolved images. It contains 63,000 images processed by various state‑of‑the‑art SR models, each annotated at the pixel level for six distinct artifact types, validated through a crowdsourcing study with 1,062 participants. The dataset improves the training of image quality assessment models with grounding capabilities and supports a fine‑tuning pipeline that reduces perceptible artifacts in SR outputs, outperforming no‑reference methods on both benchmark and real‑world low‑resolution datasets.

The paper introduces the Real‑Calibrated Synthetic‑First Data Engine, a modular pipeline that integrates controllable diffusion‑based synthetic image generation with multi‑stage curation, filtering, and optional uncertainty‑driven selection and human verification. Designed as a CLI‑based framework, it allows independent configuration of generation, filtering, selection, and validation modules to enhance reproducibility and flexibility in real‑world data workflows. Empirical tests on human pose estimation demonstrate that synthetic data can boost a real‑data baseline when used as low‑cost augmentation, though synthetic‑only training still lags behind real‑only performance, underscoring the importance of data‑centric orchestration in low‑data regimes.

UnSAMv2 is a self‑supervised extension of the Segment Anything Model that can segment objects at any granularity without human annotations. It discovers mask‑granularity pairs and introduces a granularity control embedding for continuous scale adjustment, requiring only 6K unlabeled images and 0.02% extra parameters. The model outperforms SAM/SAM‑2 across 11+ benchmarks, improving metrics such as 1‑IoU from 58.0 to 73.1 and achieving state‑of‑the‑art performance on language‑guided segmentation.
