LADBench: A Benchmark for Logical Fault Detection in Images

LADBench is a new benchmark comprising over 1,000 synthetic images that contain logical anomalies across four domains—Residential, Urban, Collaborative, and Nature. It introduces a Tiered Prompting Protocol that progressively discloses information to test how much explicit help a model needs to locate and reason about these faults. Evaluation of leading foundation models shows that even the best only reaches 70.11% accuracy, indicating that implicit logical fault detection remains largely unsolved.

Drone-PUR: From Visual Clue Discovery to Understanding and Reasoning in UAV Scenes

Drone-PUR is a new dataset and benchmark for vision‑language models that focuses on visual clue discovery, interpretation, and integration in UAV scenes. It contains 11 tasks with 175k training and 20k test samples across single images, image sequences, cross‑modal images, and multiple viewpoints, all of which are human‑reviewed. Evaluation of 22 general‑purpose VLMs shows persistent gaps in spatial judgment and cross‑modal/cross‑view reasoning, while fine‑tuning on Drone‑PUR improves accuracy by up to 18 percentage points.

Decoding the Disaster: Multi-Task Geospatial Reasoning with Vision-Language Models and Crowdsourced Imagery for Disaster Mapping

The paper introduces GRDisaster, a multi-task geospatial reasoning framework that leverages vision‑language models to interpret, geolocalize, and assess damage in crowdsourced disaster imagery. It builds on a new benchmark dataset of 26,340 images from PhotoMappers, linking volunteer geographic information, street‑view imagery, and remote sensing data across multiple disaster events from 2018 to 2024. GRDisaster combines deterministic and probabilistic cross‑view geolocalization with multi‑view fusion, and introduces spatial reasoning indicators to validate cross‑view matches and quantify disaster severity using expert‑verified annotations.

TerraAgent: Demonstration-Grounded Multi-Agent Reasoning for Long-Context Remote Sensing Visual Question Answering

The paper introduces TerraAgent, a training‑free framework that enhances remote sensing visual question answering by integrating three modules: GDR for demonstration retrieval, MACE for evidence‑typed sub‑question decomposition, and CVA for counterfactual evidence auditing. It demonstrates significant improvements on multiple benchmarks, raising accuracy, visual‑dependency scores, and reducing prior‑only answers and hallucinations without fine‑tuning.
