ROAR: Unifying Runs across Heterogeneous AI-Driven Research Systems

ROAR is a framework that unifies and analyzes runs from heterogeneous AI‑driven research systems (ADRS). It normalizes diverse output formats into a relational schema while preserving data lineage, enabling cross‑system analytics on over 900 collected runs. The unified corpus reveals problem‑specific search behaviors, such as early gains and varying effectiveness of prior‑solution strategies, and can be used to configure future ADRS runs.

OS-Marathon: Benchmarking Computer-Use Agents on Vast-Horizon, Repetitive Tasks

OS-Marathon is a new benchmark that tests computer‑use agents on vast‑horizon, repetitive tasks, covering 100 tasks across five scenarios and ten domains. The study shows that current state‑of‑the‑art agents perform poorly on these tasks, and that simply decomposing workflows into subtasks does not solve the problem. Introducing a cost‑friendly personalization method called GraphDemo, which adapts agents from a single human demonstration, improves performance, highlighting the value of human guidance for these challenging tasks.

Root-Cause Attribution Is a Search Problem: Continual Search for Long-Horizon Agent Failures

The paper introduces Continual Search, an iterative framework that guides large language models to persistently search for diagnostic evidence in long AI agent execution logs, addressing the limitations of one-shot judgments. Evaluated on four existing RCA benchmarks and a new large-scale dataset called MegaRCA-Mix, Continual Search consistently boosts attribution performance, achieving a 40% F1 improvement for GPT‑5.5 on MegaRCA‑Mix. The results show that effective search can outweigh raw model scale, enabling lower-tier models to outperform higher-tier ones in root‑cause attribution tasks.

OmicsBench: a long-horizon multi-turn benchmark of AI agents on research-study-scale bioinformatics

OmicsBench is a new long‑horizon, multi‑turn bioinformatics benchmark for AI agents, comprising 97 tasks that link 662 subtasks into directed acyclic graphs. Each subtask is a user turn scored deterministically, with optional in‑context feedback. Across 12 models, agents achieve mean scores between 0.43 and 0.67, revealing lower performance on dependent subtasks and highlighting qualitative failure modes through an unsupervised discovery pipeline.

AgentPProf: Semantic Profiler for Long Horizon AI Agents

AgentPProf is a new semantic profiler designed for long‑horizon AI agents that aggregates agent trajectories into pprof‑compatible profiles, enabling flame‑graph visualization and hierarchical attribution of tasks and subtasks. It introduces a semantic operation stack model and recursive operation segmentation to replace traditional call‑stack profiling, addressing the challenge of profiling agent intent rather than code paths. In evaluations, AgentPProf achieves high F1 scores against human annotations and significantly improves problem‑localization metrics, demonstrating its effectiveness in attributing resources, locating issues, and optimizing token cost.

Data World: Scaling Data Environments from Scratch

Data World proposes a multi‑agent engine that generates synthetic data environments, tasks, and evaluation rubrics by first specifying the underlying world rather than curating real files. The system produces thousands of training tasks across diverse domains and enables independent audits of target recoverability, while human curation ensures realistic question selection. Benchmark results show that models trained on these synthesized tasks still face significant challenges, yet RL‑zero training on the synthetic data yields measurable performance gains over baseline models.

AutoLR: Automating the Path from Research to Launch Review in Industrial Recommender Systems

AutoLR is an autonomous harness designed to streamline the iterative research‑and‑engineering cycle for industrial recommender systems, exemplified by NetEase’s gaming‑community app DASHEN. It integrates a multi‑expert council for adversarial review, a deterministic evidence‑weighted selector to allocate trial budgets, and a layered knowledge system that fuses external research with domain‑specific insights and empirical evidence. Large language model agents handle semantic reasoning and code generation, while deterministic controllers maintain control over execution, metrics, guardrails, and state management.
