Robust Multi-Model Fitting through Learning Neighbor Regions

The paper introduces Learning Neighbor Regions (LNR), a coarse‑to‑fine framework for robust multi‑model fitting in noisy environments. LNR’s coarse module uses a neural network to analyze geometric features of minimum sets, selecting a small number of promising hypotheses to improve efficiency. The fine module encodes neighbor region features for each hypothesis, allowing simultaneous refinement and scoring while avoiding differentiation of the sampling process and solvers. Experiments on four classic tasks show state‑of‑the‑art performance and suggest easy adaptation to other robust fitting problems.

C2FXNet: Coarse-to-Fine Scene Expert for Unified Object Detection across Adverse Weather

C2FXNet is a unified object detection framework designed for adverse weather conditions. It uses a dual-level guidance mechanism: a Multi-step Reasoning Router (MRR) for coarse scene reasoning and a Fine Scene Refinement (FSR) module for fine-grained semantic adjustment. A Scene-aware Mixture-of-Experts (SMoE) dynamically combines scene-specific experts, enabling robust detection across foggy, dark, and clear scenes without scene-specific training.

DXPR: Depth-Based Vision-LiDAR Cross-Modal Place Recognition Using Vision Foundation Models

DXPR is a depth‑based cross‑modal place recognition framework that matches monocular camera queries to a LiDAR map using a single vision foundation model backbone. By converting both modalities into a unified depth image representation, DXPR learns modality‑invariant global descriptors without modality‑specific encoders. A geometry‑aware overlap miner refines pairwise metric learning by computing pixel‑level overlap scores, and extensive tests on KITTI and Boreas show strong performance across seasons, weather, and day/night conditions, outperforming prior CMPR baselines.
