World models offer a promising route toward robot planning by enabling agents to imagine and verify the consequences of actions before execution. However, current video-based world models often struggle to capture the physical constraints that govern manipulation, particularly contact.

AffordSim is a scalable data generator and benchmark that integrates open‑vocabulary 3D affordance prediction into simulation‑based trajectory generation for robotic manipulation. Given a natural‑language task description, it synthesizes task‑relevant scenes, queries affordances, grounds them on object surfaces, samples region‑conditioned grasps, and selects executable candidates with motion planning, while randomizing pose, texture, lighting, noise, and backgrounds for sim‑to‑real transfer. The benchmark includes 50 tasks, five robot embodiments, and over 500 objects, achieving 93% of the success rate of manual contact annotations on affordance‑critical tasks and 89% on hard composite tasks, with policies trained on AffordSim transferring zero‑shot to a real Franka FR3 with 24% average success.

The paper introduces MoMa-SG, a framework that constructs semantic‑kinematic 3D scene graphs for articulated scenes using RGB‑D sequences. It segments interactions, tracks points robustly, estimates joint parameters in a single optimization, and associates objects with articulations to detect contained items. The authors also present the Arti4D‑Semantic dataset with 62 real‑world sequences and demonstrate the system’s effectiveness on a quadruped and a mobile manipulator.

ForeAct3D is a framework that grounds future world modeling in Vision‑Language‑Action policies by decoding depth, semantic segmentation, and camera pose from policy representations into current and future 3D scene states. The future queries are conditioned on the policy‑generated action chunk, and a physical‑consistency closure enforces background staticity, instance‑level rigidity, and wrist‑camera pose alignment with end‑effector kinematics. This approach eliminates the need for future prediction at inference and achieves high success rates on LIBERO and CALVIN, outperforming the base policy across all suites.

The paper introduces a metric interaction framework for robotic manipulation that explicitly models object- and scene-level interactions in Cartesian space. It uses Interaction‑Centric Tokens (ICTs) to represent end‑effector trajectories relative to objects and a Metric Action Interaction Field (MAIF) to attend to scene point‑cloud features for geometry‑conditioned action corrections. Experiments show modest but consistent improvements across several benchmarks, including LIBERO, RoboTwin 2.0, and real‑world tasks.

The paper introduces GALA, a Geometry-Aware Latent Action modeling framework that enhances image-based latent actions with 3D end‑effector motion. It proposes the Unified End‑effector Motion Representation (UEMR) to preserve fine‑grained motion while improving cross‑embodiment generalizability. Experiments show GALA effectively models generalizable fine‑grained motions across embodiments, achieving high success rates in RoboCasa-GR1 and real‑world tasks.
