arXiv:2606. 31127v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: To enable personalized, real-time coaching using Augmented Reality glasses or fixed camera setups in domains such as sports, cooking, or music, a system must understand not just what a person does, but how well they execute an activity.

The paper introduces a redundancy-aware fusion framework for EgoExo proficiency estimation, which integrates fine-grained motion cues from egocentric views with spatial context from exocentric views. It identifies multiview redundancy and overfitting as key challenges and proposes two modules—AdaMVS for adaptive view selection and VIB-GB for compressing redundant signals—to address them. Experiments on EgoExo-4D and EgoExo-Fitness show that the method learns to select informative views and fuse them effectively, achieving state‑of‑the‑art results.

Frozen perception foundation models encode rich geometric, semantic, and dynamic knowledge. Yet narrow conditioning interfaces may attenuate task-relevant cues, while static fusion cannot adjust expert contributions to each scene.

The paper introduces MemMTL, a multi‑task dense prediction framework that uses a compact task state derived from global visual context and refines it via a learnable prototype memory. This refined state informs task‑conditioned expert logits, which are combined with token‑level logits and routed through a sparse top‑k selection over a shared local expert bank. A task‑agnostic residual bank offers a common adaptation path, and both paths are added to the backbone feature before task‑specific prediction. The authors outline an evaluation protocol on NYUD‑v2 and PASCAL‑Context using SAM 3 and ViT‑L backbones to assess predictive quality, computational cost, and the contributions of task‑state conditioning, prototype retrieval, and sparse routing.
