DST-Net: Decomposed Spatio-Temporal Network for Time Series Forecasting

The paper introduces DST‑Net, a decomposed spatio‑temporal network that separately models trend and seasonal components of time series data. It employs a Latent Graph Block for the trend branch to capture global spatial dependencies and a Gaussian Multi‑scale Attention mechanism for the seasonal branch to focus on local temporal patterns while reducing attention distraction. Experiments on real‑world benchmarks show that this tailored approach improves forecasting performance.

Structured Latent Space Modeling over Multi-Scale Temporal Patches for Multivariate Time Series Forecasting

arXiv:2607. 19404v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Multivariate time series encode structural patterns that unfold across multiple temporal scales, yet most forecasting backbones treat learned representations as transient byproducts of prediction, leaving the organizational geometry of these patterns underexploited.

Learning to Forecast on Multiple Spatiotemporal Hierarchies

The paper introduces a graph deep learning framework that learns to forecast spatiotemporal data across multiple hierarchical structures, using variations among hierarchies as multi‑task regularization. By jointly training on different aggregation levels, the model reduces over‑specialization and improves forecasting accuracy. A novel top‑down operator ensures coherent forecasts with linear time and space complexity, making the approach computationally efficient.

Interpretable deep convolutional model for nonlinear multivariate time series in complex systems

arXiv:2501. 04339v2 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: We introduce the Deep Convolutional Interpreter for Time Series (DCIts), a deep-learning architecture for nonlinear multivariate time series that provides sample-specific, locally interpretable descriptions of the underlying interaction structure.
