SFVO is a stereo visual‑odometry framework that leverages pretrained stereo‑matching and optical‑flow models to obtain dense stereo and temporal correspondences. Rather than learning pose directly from images, it maps these correspondences into geometric constraints and predicts trustworthy points using decoupled confidence maps for rotation and translation. Experiments on both outdoor and indoor datasets show that SFVO delivers robust, accurate pose estimation with strong generalization, and the authors plan to release the code.

The paper introduces CalfVO, a monocular visual odometry system that operates without camera intrinsics, test‑time optimization, bundle adjustment, or loop closure. Using a transformer, it predicts relative poses with separate rotation and translation confidences over overlapping image windows, then aggregates these predictions via a confidence‑weighted module to produce a single trajectory. CalfVO achieves the highest accuracy among calibration‑free methods across five benchmarks and runs at 53 FPS, outperforming all baselines.

The paper introduces GMPCR, a non‑learning spectral consistency‑guided framework for multiview point cloud registration in low‑overlap scenes. GMPCR refines initial correspondences into a second‑order compatibility structure, uses spectral analysis to filter unreliable matches and select informative scan pairs, and then applies maximal‑clique hypothesis generation for robust relative transformations. The resulting sparse pose graph is further refined with an adaptive history‑aware synchronization scheme, and a recovery mechanism allows previously down‑weighted edges to regain confidence, achieving high registration recalls on benchmark datasets while reducing computational cost.

RoPE-Flow is an end‑to‑end framework that estimates camera‑to‑robot pose from a single monocular image using flow matching. It extracts keypoint‑centered features from predicted 2D heatmaps and employs a graph‑guided condition generator to encode keypoint correlations for flow matching. The method introduces Bone Length Loss and Ray‑Depth Loss to enforce topological consistency and scale stability, and demonstrates superior performance over state‑of‑the‑art approaches on multiple robot types and a new cross‑scene benchmark.

MVLoMa is a sparse star‑graph matcher that extends the LoMa local‑feature matching framework from image pairs to multi‑view settings. It uses a frozen multi‑view geometry model to jointly describe all images in a star, injecting cross‑view geometric context into local descriptors and performing centre‑to‑neighbour matching in a single forward pass with per‑view self‑attention and bidirectional centre‑neighbour cross‑attention. On 25‑view star graphs from HyperSim, ScanNet++, Mip‑NeRF 360, and Tanks and Temples, MVLoMa achieves the best macro‑average relative‑pose AUC at all thresholds and is 2.20 times faster than sequential pairwise evaluation, while supporting multiple frozen geometry encoders and demonstrating the benefits of geometry‑aware descriptors, visibility filtering, geometric negative supervision, and joint multi‑view inference.
The paper introduces CELL, a confidence-weighted event-camera localization method that learns per-correspondence confidence end-to-end using a differentiable probabilistic PnP. It reweights flow supervision, drives probabilistic correspondence selection at test time, and refines edge matching, while also proposing a partial-completion depth representation. Experiments on M3ED and DSEC show significant reductions in median translation and rotation errors compared to the LEAR baseline.

Con-DSO introduces a consistency-aware RGB‑D direct sparse odometry framework that learns pixel‑level photometric and geometric uncertainty from adjacent RGB‑D frame pairs. The network predicts uncertainties that are converted into pairwise quality scores, guiding support‑pixel selection and forming a host‑side quality prior for keyframe tracking. Experiments on five public benchmarks show that this approach reduces absolute trajectory error by over 20% on ICL‑NUIM and by 50–80% on other datasets, improving robustness in challenging environments.

Deep-learning features excel in visual matching, yet their practical value in tightly coupled visual-inertial SLAM (VI-SLAM) remains insufficiently characterized. We present DL-VINS-Factory, a unified framework that integrates learned feature extractors (ALIKED, RaCo, SuperPoint, XFeat) with either Lucas--Kanade (LK) optical-flow tracking or LightGlue (LG) descriptor matching.
