The paper introduces GMPCR, a non‑learning spectral consistency‑guided framework for multiview point cloud registration in low‑overlap scenes. GMPCR refines initial correspondences into a second‑order compatibility structure, uses spectral analysis to filter unreliable matches and select informative scan pairs, and then applies maximal‑clique hypothesis generation for robust relative transformations. The resulting sparse pose graph is further refined with an adaptive history‑aware synchronization scheme, and a recovery mechanism allows previously down‑weighted edges to regain confidence, achieving high registration recalls on benchmark datasets while reducing computational cost.

This study introduces a pipeline that enhances ultrasound plane pose estimation for fetal brain imaging by providing continuous, real‑time proximity feedback to standard planes (SPs). It employs a semi‑supervised segmentation model achieving high mIoU scores on both SPs and non‑SPs, and integrates a classification step to filter out frames without the fetal brain. The system, validated on an NVIDIA Clara AGX edge device, runs at 39 Hz and has been tested on real scan videos from 17 sonographers, demonstrating its practical viability for clinical use.

C3VDReg is a benchmark for local-to-local colonoscopic registration that uses the Colonoscopy 3D Video Dataset (C3VD) to generate 10,015 partial-to-partial point cloud pairs, with 2,088 held‑out test pairs. Each pair consists of a source point cloud from depth reprojection and a target point cloud from CT mesh raycasting, evaluated under a standardized protocol of 8,192 points per cloud and fixed pose conventions. Experiments show that high geometric overlap does not guarantee reliable pose recovery, revealing translation ambiguity along repetitive tubular anatomy as a key failure mode.

DALE-CT introduces depth‑aware 2D slice encoders that learn an anatomical world model of chest CT scans without 3D or positional supervision. By sampling self‑supervised views across a physical $z$‑axis slab, the encoder captures how anatomy changes between neighboring slices, enabling it to recover slice ordering and distinguish slices by anatomy alone. The model, trained on a large 287k‑scan corpus, achieves state‑of‑the‑art performance on CT‑RATE and is released with full code and evaluation tools.

MV-dVRK is the first ex‑vivo surgical dataset that provides multiple exposure‑synchronized stereo viewpoints, accurate surface geometry, and ground‑truth camera poses for endoscopic images. The benchmark’s static subset offers dense SfM reference geometry validated against an industrial 3D scanner, while the dynamic sequences cover ten surgical tasks with increasing kinematic complexity and tissue deformation. Using MV‑dVRK, the authors systematically compare zero‑shot monocular, stereo, multi‑stereo, and multi‑view 3D reconstruction methods, finding that multi‑stereo reconstruction with two endoscopes yields the highest coverage, and that optimization‑based multi‑view methods outperform feed‑forward foundation models when a third viewpoint is added.

BridgeMatch is a two‑stage generative solver that preserves the full soft matching matrix for 3D deformable registration. Stage I uses denoising diffusion to estimate a global matching matrix at a coarse resolution, then lifts it to high resolution while maintaining hierarchy and rank constraints. Stage II refines this lifted matrix via a conditional transport bridge, implemented with either a deterministic Flow Matching ODE or a stochastic Brownian‑bridge SDE, and demonstrates improved correspondence accuracy and registration performance on 4DMatch, 4DLoMatch, CAPE, and DeepDeform datasets, especially in low‑overlap scenarios.

UBone3D is a new framework that completes 3D anatomical shapes from partial ultrasound point clouds using physics-rectified conditional flow matching. It models ultrasound artifacts with a simulated physics proxy and applies test-time physics rectification to guide the completion. The method combines a CT-trained generative shape prior and a physics consistency network, achieving higher reconstruction accuracy and anatomical fidelity than existing baselines.
