arXiv:2607. 15660v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: While LLM agents demonstrate strong reasoning abilities in compact and well-defined scenarios, they struggle to maintain robustness and effectiveness when faced with large-scale, diverse, and dynamic real-world environments that demand seamless tool integration.
arXiv:2608.22167v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Reinforcement learning (RL) has become an effective way to improve the tool-use ability of large language models (LLMs), but most existing RL framework...
The paper introduces Humanize MLE Agents (HMA), a workflow that alternates two agents across sessions on a shared workspace, limiting each session to at most k experiments and resetting context between sessions. This approach, modeled as a context‑reset semi‑Markov decision process, outperforms single‑agent baselines, achieving a 78.2% any‑medal rate on 75 Kaggle MLE‑bench tasks—8.0 points higher than the best open‑source baseline and using only a quarter of its time budget. Across six heterogeneous agent pairs, HMA improves the any‑medal rate by an average of 6.4 points, and a supplementary kernel‑optimization case reaches 878 cycles, within 1.6% of the community leaderboard leader.
arXiv:2606. 03892v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Training LLMs to orchestrate multi-step tool calls is held back by three coupled obstacles: realistic stateful execution environments are costly to build, synthetic training queries are often detached from the server's actual state (so the generated tool calls fail to execute), and recall-based RL rewards incentivize verbose tool-calling patterns.
arXiv:2608.05446v2 Announce Type: replace Abstract: Long-horizon LLM agents increasingly rely on external execution support to maintain state, track progress, recover from failures, and reuse experie...
arXiv:2610.08155v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Large language model (LLM)-based multi-agent systems (MAS) have become a promising paradigm for complex information-seeking and reasoning tasks by en...
