arXiv:2608.28923v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Data augmentation is a cornerstone of deep learning pipelines, yet existing strategies treat it as a static, model-agnostic preprocessing step, eithe...
The paper introduces BiCC, a bidirectional connected-component loss that pairs annotation- and prediction-derived partitions to score predicted components on their own scale. By deriving instances from predictions, BiCC directly penalizes false-positive components regardless of size, allowing a balance parameter to control the lesion-wise precision–recall trade-off. Across five datasets, BiCC outperforms existing instance-aware losses such as CC-DiceCE and blob loss in lesion-wise F1, and improves over DiceCE on multiple datasets.

arXiv:2505.03380v2 Announce Type: replace Abstract: Accurate delineation of tumors and surrounding organs-at-risk is essential for radiotherapy, surgery and treatment response assessment, yet remains...
arXiv:2605. 23995v2 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Self-supervised learning (SSL) has emerged as a promising paradigm for addressing the annotation bottleneck in medical imaging by learning representations from unlabeled data.
arXiv:2510. 15042v3 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: In the 3D medical image domain, vision-language pre-training is used to create vision-language encoders (VLEs) that can support radiologists by retrieving patients with similar abnormalities, predicting likelihoods of abnormality, or, with downstream adaptation, generating radiological reports.
