Modern large-scale cloud systems continuously generate massive and multimodal observability data, such as time-series metrics, log records, and system dependency graphs, which reflect the health state...
The paper introduces LLMMAD, an autoregressive multimodal anomaly detection framework that leverages Large Language Models for microservice systems. It addresses two key limitations of existing methods—ignoring modality-specific traits and the identity-shortcut problem—by embedding multimodal data into a unified sequence for LLM processing while preserving modality-specific information through dedicated reconstruction heads, and by using a prediction-driven autoregressive objective to avoid copying inputs. Experiments on three real-world datasets show LLMMAD outperforms state-of-the-art approaches, improving F1-scores by up to 3.1%.
arXiv:2607. 18127v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: With the rapid growth of cloud computing infrastructures in scale and complexity, network monitoring for Large-scale Cloud Systems (LCSs) has become increasingly challenging, requiring automated and reliable anomaly detection to maintain service availability.
arXiv:2610.01168v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Time Series Anomaly Detection has received increasing attention, driven by the growing availability of complex time series data. This surge has led t...
The paper introduces an adaptive temporal modeling framework for weakly supervised video anomaly detection that addresses the limitations of rigid Multiple Instance Learning approaches. It presents a Temporal Refinement Module using dynamic positional encoding and a learnable class token to capture long‑range dependencies, and an Event Segmentation Module that identifies event boundaries via temporal discontinuity analysis to produce discriminative event‑level representations. An adaptive similarity‑based fusion strategy replaces fixed top‑k heuristics, dynamically integrating snippet‑level and event‑level anomaly scores into video‑level predictions, and the method outperforms state‑of‑the‑art baselines on two benchmarks.
arXiv:2603. 26842v3 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Time series anomaly detection (TSAD) is essential for maintaining the reliability and security of IoT-enabled service systems.
