Continual Reasoning Gym: Diagnosing and Harnessing Shared Reasoning in Continual RLVR

The paper introduces Continual Reasoning Gym, a continual reinforcement learning with verifiable rewards (RLVR) environment that sequences text and visual reasoning tasks. It finds that sequential RLVR suffers modest forgetting and underperforms multitask RLVR, but that shared reasoning structures can be leveraged. The authors propose Continual Prompt Replay (CPR), which replays previous-task prompts and regenerates responses, achieving performance comparable to multitask RLVR.

Spatiotemporal Knowledge Graphs as Persistent Scene Memory for Embodied Question Answering

arXiv:2510. 01483v3 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Vision-language models (VLMs) demonstrate strong image-level scene understanding, but reasoning over long egocentric video remains costly: because VLMs maintain no persistent memory or explicit spatial representation, all sampled frames must be re-processed for every new query.

DeepRefine: Agentic Knowledge Refinement via Reinforcement Learning

DeepRefine is a reinforcement learning framework that improves the quality of pre‑constructed structured knowledge bases—such as knowledge graphs or LLM‑Wikis—by engaging in multi‑turn interactions with the base. It performs abductive diagnosis to locate defects, then applies targeted refinement actions to incrementally update the knowledge base. The system uses a Gain‑Beyond‑Draft reward to train its refinement policy end‑to‑end, achieving consistent downstream performance gains over strong baselines.
