VISA (Visual Instruction Synthesis Agent) is an agentic framework that transforms multimodal instruction synthesis into a self‑evolving loop. Each cycle analyzes images to filter constraints, samples new constraint sets, generates candidate instructions, and verifies them using executable tools and large language model judges. Failed samples trigger diagnostic recovery, while accepted samples are evaluated against the target model to estimate difficulty, with all feedback written back to memory to adapt future rounds and provide reward signals for reinforcement learning.

MM-IFEval-Pro is a new multilingual benchmark for evaluating instruction-following in vision-language models, covering both Chinese and English tasks. It includes 4 major task categories, 24 subcategories, and 8 instruction categories with 52 subcategories, each sample featuring an average of 3.0 constraints to mimic complex instruction scenarios. A reinforcement-learning training set with Chinese and adversarial instructions improves model performance on MM-IFEval-Pro and transfers well to other multimodal benchmarks, showing strong cross-task and cross-language generalization.

Multimodal large language models have made rapid progress in video understanding, yet existing benchmarks largely rely on simple prompts and provide limited evidence about whether models can satisfy explicit output constraints. We introduce VCIFBench, a benchmark for evaluating complex instruction following in video understanding.

RubricRM introduces a pairwise generative reward modeling framework that generates an input‑specific rubric—comprising evaluation dimensions, weights, and scoring criteria—to score candidate images. The method is trained in two stages: supervised fine‑tuning to learn the rubric‑based scoring paradigm and GRPO to refine dimension‑level rewards. Experiments on text‑to‑image generation and instruction‑based image editing benchmarks demonstrate that RubricRM outperforms existing specialized reward models and competes with strong proprietary MLLM judges while using smaller backbones.

VinciCoder is a unified framework for multimodal code generation that addresses the limitations of single-task models by training on a large-scale curated corpus of 1.3 M direct generation pairs and 300 k visual‑refinement tasks. It introduces a coarse‑to‑fine Visual Reinforcement Learning (ViRL) approach that uses visual similarity across multi‑scale patches to provide an implementation‑agnostic reward, improving alignment between rendered outputs and input visuals. Experiments on diverse benchmarks show VinciCoder outperforms existing methods, and ablation studies confirm the effectiveness of ViRL.

JEPA-WAM enhances World Action Models (WAMs) by pairing text instructions with stochastically generated visual cues, using a text-to-image generator and a frozen V‑JEPA encoder to create dense goal representations. These representations are compressed into goal tokens that condition both video and action experts via cross‑attention, enabling the model to better ground instructions. On a new real‑robot benchmark, JEPA‑WAM attains 87.3%, 74.5%, and 80.9% success rates across in‑distribution, out‑of‑distribution scenes, and out‑of‑distribution instructions, outperforming prior methods by significant margins.

MMSearch-OPD is a new approach for long‑horizon multimodal search agents that combines a controllable data refinement pipeline with joint reinforcement learning and on‑policy distillation. The refinement process expands reasoning chains from existing simple multimodal questions, allowing adjustable search depth and cross‑modal evidence requirements while reusing image–question pairs. Training uses answer rewards, behavior penalties, and a decaying distillation coefficient to guide the agent, and experiments demonstrate that both data refinement and joint training after supervised fine‑tuning improve long‑horizon multimodal search performance.
