MSRNet: A Multi-Scale Recursive Network for Camouflaged Object Detection

arXiv:2511. 12810v2 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Camouflaged object detection is an emerging and challenging computer vision task that requires identifying and segmenting objects that blend seamlessly into their environments due to high similarity in color, texture, and size.

MIMONet: Multi-scale Input and Multi-scale Output Network for Salient Object Detection

MIMONet is a saliency detection model that uses multi‑scale inputs and outputs to better handle objects of varying sizes. It processes three differently sized images through separate encoder branches that exchange information, allowing each branch to learn size‑variation knowledge from the others. A Multi‑scale Perception module further refines features, and a Joint Saliency Loss ensures consistent, well‑preserved boundaries across the multiple saliency maps produced.

Context-Guided Semantic Alignment for Feature Fusion Networks

The paper introduces Feature Interaction Network (FINE), a lightweight semantic alignment module for feature fusion networks in object detectors. FINE refines low‑level features using high‑level contextual guidance through cross‑level attention, and employs Alignment‑Aware Token Sampling to reduce attention complexity. The resulting spatial‑channel modulation map selectively enhances semantically relevant pixels while preserving sub‑pixel localization, leading to improved detection accuracy with minimal computational overhead.

MEVL-STP: Multi-Encoder and Vision Language Model for Arbitrarily Shaped Scene Text Spotting

MEVL-STP introduces a two‑stage pipeline for spotting arbitrarily shaped scene text. The detection stage fuses features from six frozen vision encoders via a hierarchical Feature Pyramid Network and a Progressive Scale Expansion network to produce precise polygon masks. The recognition stage then crops these masks and feeds them to a fine‑tuned Qwen3‑VL‑8B‑Instruct model, achieving state‑of‑the‑art detection and end‑to‑end performance on CTW1500, Total‑Text, and ICDAR 2015 without synthetic pretraining.

GTR: Gated Token Recurrence for Efficient Dense Prediction

The paper introduces Gated Token Recurrence (GTR), a softmax‑free recurrent vision backbone that replaces global softmax attention with gated linear attention, alternating scan directions, and enhanced SwiGLU blocks. GTR is distilled from a DINOv3 teacher using only final‑layer patch‑token alignment, and achieves strong performance on COCO object detection (58.9 box AP) with very low latency (1.908 ms on an RTX 4090). The backbone also transfers to multiple dense prediction tasks and runs efficiently on edge hardware via a specialized CUDA operator and TensorRT deployment.
