CAST is a framework for generating anomalous time series that addresses the scarcity and heterogeneity of anomaly data. It uses a two‑stage approach: pretraining on abundant normal data to learn system dynamics, then finetuning with anomaly structure representations to capture diverse anomaly morphologies. Experiments on real‑world datasets show that CAST outperforms existing methods in both generation quality and downstream task performance.

Structured Temporal Causality for Interpretable Multivariate Time Series Anomaly Detection introduces OracleAD, an unsupervised framework that encodes each variable’s past into a causal embedding to jointly predict the present and reconstruct the input window. The embeddings are projected via self‑attention into a shared latent space, capturing dynamic spatial relationships that are aligned to a Stable Latent Structure (SLS) representing normal-state relationships. Anomalies are detected through a dual scoring mechanism based on prediction error and deviation from the SLS, allowing fine‑grained diagnosis and root‑cause identification at the variable level.

MORA is a drift‑robust time‑series anomaly detection framework that addresses the ambiguity between distribution drift and true anomalies by defining a temporal change disambiguation problem. It reconstructs a local target from paired short‑ and long‑term views, using the reconstruction gap as a measure of contextual support to adjust the primary anomaly score. The method requires no drift annotations or online adaptation and demonstrates strong robustness to non‑stationarity while maintaining sensitivity to genuine anomalies on four TSAD benchmarks.
