IDSPACE: A Novel Document Generator for Reliable Evaluation of Digital Identity Verification Systems [Extended Technical Report]

IDSPACE is a new synthetic document generator designed to aid the evaluation of digital identity verification systems. It uses model‑guided Bayesian optimization to tune generation parameters for visual similarity and prediction consistency, separates user‑defined metadata from low‑level control settings, and supports scanned and mobile‑captured documents. Experiments demonstrate that IDSPACE improves evaluation consistency by 15‑45 % over baselines, boosts training accuracy by up to 9 %, and increases SSIM similarity by 10 %, while providing a dataset of 359,240 synthetic documents across ten European ID types.

Traceable LLM Reasoning for Fake-Order Fraud Detection

arXiv:2607. 23075v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Detecting fake-order fraud at scale remains a critical challenge for large online-to-offline (O2O) service platforms, as existing approaches often rely on expert-designed features, produce black-box decisions, and provide limited interpretability.

False Claims, Credible Images: A Red-Teaming Benchmark for Commercial Image Generators

The paper introduces EpiReal-Bench, a benchmark of 10,000 false-claim prompts and corresponding images designed to test visual misinformation risks in commercial image generators. It also presents EpiReal-Attack, a black-box optimization framework that can bypass alignment safeguards, increasing the success rate of generating misleading images from 70% to 95%. Experiments on four commercial models show that these generators can produce credible visual evidence for false claims, highlighting a blind spot in current alignment methods.

The CIFAR Synthetic Evidence Corpus for Detecting AI-Generated Evidence

arXiv:2606. 07916v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: The growing ability of generative models to produce realistic documents poses a direct challenge to evidentiary workflows in the justice system and the courts, where decisions increasingly depend on the authenticity of evidence such as receipts, communications, and administrative records.

Evidence-Consistent Generative Detection under Scenario-Level Distribution Shift

The paper introduces a new evaluation setting called scenario‑level out‑of‑distribution (SL‑OOD) detection for SMS and voice phishing, where entire attack scenarios are omitted from training while the label space stays fixed. It shows that high in‑distribution performance does not guarantee robustness to unseen scenarios, attributing this to scenario memorization. The authors propose ECoG, an evidence‑consistent generative framework that uses evidence‑span supervision and a rationale‑label consistency objective, achieving notable improvements in Macro‑F1, reduced prediction‑rationale inconsistency, and higher token‑level overlap with reference evidence.
