The paper introduces the Logit Refiner, a lightweight autoregressive module that restores intra‑scale dependencies in Visual Autoregressive Models (VAR) by sequentially sampling tokens conditioned on frozen backbone features. This refiner adds only about 10% more parameters and less than 5% of the base model’s training compute, and can be applied to any pretrained VAR checkpoint without retraining. Experiments on ImageNet 256×256 show that the refiner consistently improves generation quality across backbones ranging from 310 M to 2 B parameters, enabling a 1.1 B‑parameter model to outperform a model twice its size, and the method generalizes to text‑to‑image generation, demonstrating that the mean‑field bottleneck is effectively alleviated.

RelayVSR introduces a streaming video super‑resolution framework that combines a large generative model, which produces reference latents for sparse keyframes, with a lightweight Dual‑Memory Video Transformer that super‑resolves every frame using these references and low‑resolution input. The method employs Video‑Aware Reference Optimization (VARO), a reinforcement‑learning strategy that optimizes both system‑level video quality and reference‑level keyframe fidelity, outperforming direct joint training. On 1080p video, RelayVSR achieves 29.29 FPS with modest GPU memory usage, significantly faster and more efficient than the FlashVSR‑Tiny baseline.

The paper introduces TRACK, a training‑free trajectory routing method that accelerates video diffusion by selectively switching between large and small models during denoising steps. A calibration process generates a disagreement score map, guiding the selection of the appropriate model at each step to maintain quality while reducing computational cost. Experiments on Wan 2.1, Cosmos 3, TurboDiffusion, and FastVideo show speedups ranging from 1.95× to 2.73× with comparable quality and diversity.
