AWM-VLA: AlignedWorld Modeling for Efficient and Explainable Vision-Language-Action Policies

AWM‑VLA introduces a unified framework that embeds aligned world modeling directly into a diffusion‑transformer vision‑language‑action policy. By adding learnable future tokens aligned with vision‑language embeddings of future observations, the policy can anticipate long‑term consequences while generating actions. The method extends this with an object‑centric alignment objective and a principled weighting scheme, achieving up to 21% higher success rates on RoboCasa and humanoid tabletop benchmarks and producing object‑centric rationales preferred by human raters in 83% of cases.

WorldAgen: Unified State-Action Prediction with Test-Time World Model Training

WorldAgen is a unified framework that jointly learns world modeling and action prediction using a shared Transformer backbone with two specialized heads. It introduces a Mixed Unidirectional Attention Mask to separate the world model and agent model, and enables Test-Time Training (TTT) by sampling exploratory actions and updating the world model with real state transitions. Experiments on CALVIN and LIBERO show that WorldAgen matches or surpasses state‑of‑the‑art methods, especially when TTT is applied to a few samples.

PACT-WAM: Predicting Actions and Visual Foresight with Compact Temporal Encoding for Robot Manipulation

PACT‑WAM is a world‑action model that simultaneously predicts a 16‑step action trajectory and its corresponding visual forecast for robot manipulation. It uses a hierarchical history encoder that compresses past observations into fewer tokens, reducing processing cost by 75% compared to dense encoding. The model’s shared flow module updates action and visual states jointly, and a TiTok‑VAE decoder reconstructs multi‑view future images, which are then used by a vision‑language component (Proposal Review) to improve execution‑prefix selection and proposal rejection, boosting success rates on several benchmarks.

VLAFlow: A Unified Training Framework for Vision-Language-Action Models via Co-training and Future Latent Alignment

arXiv:2607. 01586v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Vision-language-action models (VLAs) have recently advanced robotic manipulation, yet the effects of different robot-data pre-training paradigms remain difficult to compare because existing models often differ in architecture, data, action space, and evaluation protocol.

LEEVLA: Seeing What Matters in Latent Environment Evolution for Vision-Language-Action

Vision-language-action (VLA) models aim to map multimodal inputs to robot actions. However, most existing approaches struggle to cover complex dynamic scenarios due to treating all visual tokens uniformly and reasoning with human-selected factors, which lack mechanisms to emphasize task-critical evidence and ignore underlying factors.
