Effective Dimensionality as an Operator Invariant for Physics-Preserving Constraint Adaptation in Physics-Informed Neural Networks

arXiv:2606. 06171v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Physics-Informed Neural Networks inherently suffer from task interference because they rely on a shared parameter space to satisfy both governing differential equations and boundary conditions.

Multi-dimensional training-priority weighting based on physical information propagation paths: a unified residual-weighting framework for physics-informed neural networks

arXiv:2607. 11094v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Physics-informed neural networks (PINNs) have shown promise for solving partial differential equations (PDEs); however, their synchronous optimization treats residuals of different regions and constraints equally, which is inconsistent with the progressive "from source to response" physical information propagation path, degrading training stability and accuracy.

GENERIC-FNO: Embedding Energy Conservation and Entropy Production into Fourier Neural Operators

arXiv:2606. 08343v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: We introduce GENERIC-FNO, the first neural operator to embed the full GENERIC (metriplectic) structure of nonequilibrium thermodynamics -- reversible, energy-conserving dynamics and irreversible, entropy-producing dynamics coupled through the degeneracy conditions -- directly in function space.

Physics-Informed Neural Embeddings of PDE Solution Families

We introduce a physics-informed framework for learning finite-dimensional embeddings of solution families of partial differential equations. The method uses a multihead Physics-Informed Neural Network in which a shared body learns a latent manifold representing the solution space, while linear heads reconstruct individual solutions associated with different initial conditions.

Structure-preserving uncertainty quantification for GENERIC dynamics

arXiv:2608. 12624v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Structure-preserving machine learning embeds physical structure directly into model architectures, yet uncertainty quantification (UQ) for such hard-constrained models remains limited because standard UQ methods may violate the encoded admissibility conditions, require architectural modifications, or impose substantial computational costs.

On the training of physics-informed neural operators for solving parametric partial differential equations

Physics-informed neural operators (PINOs) aim to learn solution operators for partial differential equations by using the governing physics as supervision, rather than relying solely on paired input-output simulation data. By incorporating physical constraints into the training objective, PINOs combine the cross-instance generalization of neural operators with the data efficiency of physics-informed learning.
