WovenAnchor Matcher: Specialized Intra- and Inter-Image Context Modeling for Feature Matching

Read the original on arXiv Computer Vision →

The paper introduces WovenAnchor Matcher (WAM), a semi‑dense feature matching framework that separates intra‑image and inter‑image context aggregation. WAM uses WovenMamba for horizontal‑then‑vertical state‑space propagation to preserve structured 2D dependencies within each image, and AnchorCrossAttention to gather context from plausible corresponding regions across image pairs via cross‑attention over local anchors. Experiments on MegaDepth show WAM achieving 66.1 pose AUC@5°, a 2.0‑point improvement over the JamMa baseline, and ablations confirm the necessity of both specialized components.

Geometry-Aligned Semantic Matching for Cross-Modal Planar Image Registration

Geometry-Aligned Semantic Matching for Cross-Modal Planar Image Registration proposes CDPM, a method that first aligns semantic representations across modalities and then refines correspondences with fine-grained CNN features. CDPM adapts DINOv3 using geometrically consistent cross-modal patch pairs, builds a DINO-Centric Feature Pyramid for stable cross-modal matching, and adds a lightweight CNN branch for precise local refinement. Experiments on three cross-modal datasets show that CDPM outperforms existing dense matchers, improving AUC metrics and reducing mACE while using fewer FLOPs.

Intra- and Cross-Scale Feature Interaction Network for Referring Remote Sensing Image Segmentation

The paper introduces NWPU-Refer, the largest bilingual dataset for referring remote sensing image segmentation, featuring 15,003 high‑resolution images from over 30 countries and 49,745 annotated targets. It also proposes the Multi‑scale Referring Segmentation Network (MRSNet), which uses an Intra‑scale Feature Interaction Module to refine fine‑grained features and a Hierarchical Feature Interaction Module to fuse cross‑scale information while preserving spatial structure. Experiments on NWPU‑Refer and RRSIS‑D show that MRSNet achieves strong, competitive performance, especially under strict IoU thresholds, demonstrating the effectiveness of both the new dataset and the model.

MVLoMa: Multi-View Local Feature Matching with Any Geometry Foundation Model

MVLoMa is a sparse star‑graph matcher that extends the LoMa framework from image pairs to multi‑view settings. It uses a frozen multi‑view geometry model to jointly describe all images in a star, injecting cross‑view geometric context into local descriptors and matching the centre image to all neighbours in a single forward pass. On several datasets, MVLoMa achieves the best macro‑average relative‑pose AUC and is more than twice as fast as sequential pairwise evaluation, while supporting multiple frozen geometry encoders and demonstrating the benefits of geometry‑aware descriptors, visibility filtering, and joint inference.
