arXiv:2605. 18848v3 Announce Type: replace Abstract: This paper introduces Exact Linear Attention (ELA), a mechanism that achieves linear computational complexity for Transformer attention by exploiting the exact decomposition property of kernel functions, thereby eliminating approximation error.
arXiv:2608.22368v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: While linear attention is a compelling mechanism for high-resolution object detection due to its reduced cost for global token mixing, converting the S...
The paper introduces V-CoLA, a training‑free token compression framework tailored for vision-language models that use linear attention. V-CoLA employs a uniqueness‑aware importance criterion to select critical vision tokens and an adaptive token merging strategy to compress them, all optimized to fit the chunk‑wise parallelism of linear attention. Experiments show that V‑CoLA retains 99.5% of the original performance with only half the vision tokens and achieves significant speedups during prefill.
arXiv:2604. 00757v2 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Large Vision Language Models show impressive performance across image and video understanding tasks, yet their computational cost grows rapidly with the number of visual tokens.
arXiv:2605.12491v2 Announce Type: replace Abstract: Vision Transformers (ViTs) learn rich visual-semantic representations through all-to-all self-attention among patch tokens. However, this design im...
arXiv:2608. 06411v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Multimodal large language models (MLLMs) achieve strong performance across diverse vision-language tasks, but their efficiency is limited by the cost of processing numerous visual tokens.
