RegCL is a non‑replay continual learning framework that adapts the Segment Anything Model (SAM) for visual grounding across evolving multi‑sensorial media domains. It consolidates domain‑specific segmentation knowledge into a single lightweight SAM adapter by incrementally merging LoRA‑style AugModules and preserving compact historical feature statistics. Experiments on five heterogeneous datasets demonstrate that RegCL retains performance while adapting to new domains, outperforming other non‑replay continual learning and merging baselines.
arXiv:2608. 04720v4 Announce Type: replace Abstract: Real-time object detectors achieve remarkable accuracy under controlled conditions, yet degrade sharply on non-ideal inputs-fisheye distortion, game-rendered content, aerial views, and 360{\deg}panoramas.
The paper proposes treating few-shot classification as a series of multiple instance verification (MIV) tasks, enabling effective transfer across domains without fine-tuning the backbone. It introduces the MIV-head, a backbone‑agnostic, computationally efficient classification head that achieves competitive accuracy on cross‑domain few‑shot image classification using frozen, pre‑trained backbones. Experiments on an extended Meta‑Dataset benchmark show that the MIV-head outperforms state‑of‑the‑art adapter methods while incurring lower adaptation cost.
OptiSAR-Net++ introduces a new cross‑domain remote sensing visual grounding task (CD‑RSVG) and the first large‑scale benchmark dataset, OptSAR‑RSVG. The framework replaces Transformer decoding with a CLIP‑based contrastive approach, employing a patch‑level Low‑Rank Adaptation Mixture of Experts for efficient cross‑domain feature decoupling and a text‑guided dual‑gate fusion module for improved semantic‑visual alignment. Experiments show state‑of‑the‑art performance on OptSAR‑RSVG and DIOR‑RSVG, with notable gains in localization accuracy and computational efficiency.
The core challenge of heterogeneous change detection in remote sensing imagery lies in effectively decoupling genuine land-cover changes from significant modal disparities caused by distinct imaging mechanisms. These intrinsic inconsistencies are prone to introducing pseudo-changes, thereby constraining detection accuracy.
PDA++ is a unified, environment‑aware object insertion framework for remote sensing imagery that improves few‑shot and long‑tail recognition. It operates in three stages: Planning, which selects scene‑compatible poses using an affordance field; Decoupling, which conditions the background on pose to preserve object identity while adapting to the scene; and Assimilation, which aligns multi‑scale texture distributions via optimal transport to enhance local coherence. The method achieves a whole‑image FID of 6.28 and boosts average few‑shot recognition mAP50 by 17.69 points on optical data, while also improving ship detection on SAR imagery and maintaining performance under cross‑dataset transfer and amorphous‑target insertion.
