arXiv:2605. 18793v2 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Accurate spatiotemporal pattern analysis is critical in fields such as urban traffic, meteorology, and public health monitoring.
arXiv:2608. 03521v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Forecasting precise future motion of surrounding agents is essential for reliable autonomous vehicles.
RiskWorld is a risk‑aware world modeling framework that forecasts shared occupancy and selectively replaces planned trajectories in automated driving. It fuses spatial risk fields, temporal actor context, and visual bird’s‑eye‑view features, using flow‑guided evolution to transport occupancy and signed residuals to correct it. In open‑loop planning on nuScenes, RiskWorld achieves the lowest collision rate over a 3‑second horizon and the second‑best average L2 error, running at 11.5 FPS on a single NVIDIA RTX 4090.
arXiv:2603. 09868v2 Announce Type: replace Abstract: Accurately quantifying terrestrial carbon exchange is essential for climate policy and carbon accounting, yet models must generalize to ecosystems underrepresented in sparse eddy covariance observations.
The paper demonstrates that fine‑tuning large language models (LLMs) on local tourist trajectory data can predict visitor movements under varying conditions. Using 566 trajectories from Wakayama Castle Park, Japan, the authors fine‑tuned Llama‑3.1‑8B, achieving 49.1% accuracy for next point‑of‑interest predictions and maintaining strong performance even on undersampled scenarios such as rainy days. This shows that LLMs can serve as high‑fidelity, context‑aware behavior models for tourist prediction and enable counterfactual analysis of mobility interventions.
Variational Streaming Flow (VSF) extends the efficient Streaming Flow (SF) framework by learning a latent distribution conditioned on system dynamics, enabling probabilistic forecasting in physical time. Unlike SF’s deterministic velocity field, VSF produces multiple plausible future trajectories, improving predictive accuracy and distributional fidelity across deterministic and stochastic dynamical systems. The method supports long‑horizon rollouts over 1,000 steps, handles bifurcating dynamics, and can be integrated as a plug‑and‑play predictor into Joint‑Embedding Predictive Architecture (JEPA) world models to enhance navigation, motion planning, and manipulation tasks.
