Recent advances in Diffusion Transformers (DiTs) have enabled remarkable progress in visual synthesis, benefiting from their superior scalability. To facilitate DiTs' capability of capturing meaningful internal representations, recent works such as REPA incorporate external pretrained encoders for representation alignment.
The paper introduces DetNO, a method that enhances diversity in text-to-image diffusion models by maximizing the log-determinant of an RBF Gram matrix over initial noise vectors. DetNO treats diversity as a collective property of the entire batch, using a volume maximization objective that self-attenuates as diversity improves, and includes an anchor-based fidelity term to keep samples realistic. Experiments on SD1.5, SDXL, and SD3 backbones show that DetNO outperforms existing pairwise repulsion methods in intra-batch diversity metrics and yields statistically significant accuracy gains in few-shot classification tasks when used for synthetic data augmentation.

The paper investigates how long, richly detailed prompts cause modern text-to-image models to lose diversity, even when many visual aspects are unspecified. It introduces PromptMoG, a training‑free method that samples prompt embeddings from a Mixture‑of‑Gaussians distribution to restore diversity while preserving semantic fidelity. The authors also present LPD‑Bench, a benchmark for evaluating fidelity and diversity under long, semantically dense prompts, and demonstrate PromptMoG’s effectiveness on four large diffusion models.

Recent advances in diffusion models have shown impressive performance in controllable image generation and dense prediction tasks. However, existing approaches typically treat diffusion-based controllable generation and dense prediction as separate tasks, overlooking the potential benefits of jointly modeling the heterogeneous distributions.
We introduce the Intrinsic Hybrid Latent Diffusion Model (ILDM), a generative framework that integrates probabilistic dimensionality reduction with geometry-aware diffusion on unknown manifolds. While diffusion models (DMs) have achieved state-of-the-art results in high-dimensional data synthesis, they rely on large training datasets and ignore intrinsic geometric structure.
