Beyond Executable Models: The Pufibara Agent Harness and the Modelica Agent Workflow Benchmark for Physical System Modeling

The paper introduces Pufibara, an agent harness designed to maintain engineering state and evidence across revisions in Modelica-based physical system modeling. It also presents a 232-task Modelica Agent Workflow Benchmark covering model repair, generation, and tuning, evaluated by an external benchmark-owned evaluator. Experiments show Pufibara outperforms Claude Code in task success and resource efficiency across two LLM backends.

Orchestrated Reality: From Role-Play to Living, Playable Game Worlds -- LLM-Driven World Simulation as a Parameterized-Action POMDP

arXiv:2606. 16014v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Many games rely on storytelling combined with systems that track levelling, NPC behaviour, and consequence simulation; bridging tightly-authored narrative with deeply-simulated worlds -- most acute in sandbox and open-world settings -- has been prohibitively expensive.

From LLM Inference to Agentic Workloads: Characterization and Implications for Serving Systems

arXiv:2608. 15127v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Agentic applications are shifting AI serving from isolated model inference to long-running workloads in which LLMs coordinate tools, environments, and persistent state.

Towards an Agent Operating System - Lessons from Classical and Cloud OS

arXiv:2607. 25076v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Every major wave of platform software follows the same arc: an initial period of experimentation with competing frameworks and ad-hoc implementations, followed by the articulation of a small set of stable abstractions with well-defined semantics, and finally consolidation around those abstractions into a platform that applications can portably target.
