FusionRS: A Large-Scale RGB-Infrared Remote Sensing Dataset for Dual-Modal Vision-Language Foundation Models

Remote sensing vision-language models have advanced Earth observation understanding, but most existing work remains centered on RGB imagery, leaving the complementary information in infrared data underexplored. Infrared images provide distinctive cues, including thermal intensity structures, object boundaries, and illumination-invariant scene features, which can enrich visual-language learning beyond conventional RGB observations.

ConFusion: Continuous Fusion Space Learning for Fine-Grained Controllable Infrared and Visible Image Fusion

Controllable infrared-visible image fusion aims to integrate complementary thermal and structural information with flexible region-aware modulation, producing fused images that adapt to diverse user requirements and downstream tasks. However, existing methods typically rely on predefined discrete control conditions, leading to a sparse space that fails to support fine-grained modulation demands.

GeoSeg-OV: Bridging Geospatial Gaps with Structural Guidance for Open-Vocabulary Remote Sensing Segmentation

Open-vocabulary remote sensing segmentation has recently emerged as a promising paradigm that enables pixel-level recognition of arbitrary categories specified by natural language, including classes unseen during training. However, geospatial domain shifts caused by heterogeneous regions, spatial resolutions, and acquisition platforms weaken visual-text matching and limit cross-dataset generalization.

Vision as Unified Multimodal Generation

We formulate computer vision as unified multimodal generation, where heterogeneous visual tasks are expressed in the native text and image generation spaces of a unified multimodal model, without task-specific architectures. Under this formulation, SenseNova-Vision uses natural-language instructions and optional visual prompts to specify tasks, target regions or views, and decoding conventions, and generates responses as text for symbolic outputs, images for dense spatial predictions, or mixed text-and-image outputs for compositional tasks.

EchoChange: A Diffusion Language Model with Dual Pass Remasking for Factual Remote Sensing Disaster Change Captioning

arXiv:2608. 01856v2 Announce Type: replace Abstract: Bi-temporal remote-sensing disaster change captioning often needs to identify sparse and spatially localized changes across large pre- and post-event scenes and then translate them into coherent, factual descriptions.

P2Fusion: Prompt-based Progressive Infrared-Visible Image Fusion via Dual-Prior Distillation

Infrared-visible image fusion (IVIF) is pivotal for multimodal perception, yet reconciling the inherent information disparity between thermal and textural features remains a fundamental challenge. Existing prior-guided methods often rely on static constraints that induce optimization conflicts or utilize extrinsic semantic priors from large-scale foundation models (e.
