High-dimensional Linear Bandits with Knapsacks

The paper studies high‑dimensional linear contextual bandits with knapsack constraints (CBwK), aiming to exploit sparsity for tighter regret bounds. It introduces an online hard‑thresholding estimator integrated into a primal‑dual framework, achieving sub‑linear regret that grows only logarithmically with the feature dimension. Under either a diverse‑covariate or margin condition, the regret improves to τ‑dependent rates, and when both hold simultaneously, a dual resolving scheme yields an even tighter bound. The approach also recovers optimal rates for high‑dimensional contextual bandits without knapsacks, and experiments demonstrate its practical effectiveness.

Efficient Online Proportional Sampling with Applications to Smoothed Online Learning

arXiv:2607. 10963v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: We study the problem of efficient online proportional sampling from a high-dimensional domain under a $\sigma$-smoothed adversary, where the sampling distribution is induced by a dynamically evolving weight function defined over a sequence of piecewise-structured partitions.

Improved Dimension Dependence for Bandit Convex Optimization with Gradient Variations

The paper presents an improved analysis of non‑consecutive gradient variation in Bandit Convex Optimization (BCO) with two‑point feedback, leading to better dimension dependence for both convex and strongly convex functions compared to prior work. It also derives new problem‑dependent guarantees such as gradient‑variance and small‑loss regret bounds, extends the technique to one‑point bandit linear optimization over hyper‑rectangular domains, and establishes the first gradient‑variation dynamic and universal regret bounds for two‑point BCO.
