arXiv:2606. 16316v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Retrieving external knowledge is essential for solving real-world tasks, yet it remains challenging when the relationship between a query and its relevant knowledge involves implicit and complex reasoning beyond surface-level semantic or lexical matching (e.

JOVE is an online framework that jointly assigns large language model (LLM) executors and selects intermediate outputs for paid verification in directed acyclic task graphs. It balances immediate execution costs with future learning by solving per-query mixed‑integer linear programs and updating task‑dependent LLM quality estimates through verification feedback. Experiments on four reasoning benchmarks show that JOVE matches standard inference accuracy while cutting average cost and latency by at least 3.17×.

Reasoning Language Models (RLMs) have significantly improved performance on complex tasks by extending the reasoning chain. However, these chains are prone to containing factual errors, particularly in knowledge-intensive tasks.
arXiv:2512. 07843v2 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Scaling inference-time computation has enabled Large Language Models (LLMs) to achieve strong reasoning performance, but their inherently sequential decoding incurs substantial latency, motivating parallelization of the generation process.
